Adrian Bianchessi, known as Adrian only, is the overarching protagonist of rezendeevil's 2021 YouTube thriller miniseries A Vizinha da Toca (The Neighbor of the Den).
He is the father of Laís Bianchessi, who has a sever case of kleptomania and many more disorders, who struggles with his daughter's disorders problems, being kleptomania the main one, and who wants to protect people from her so she won't steal from them.
He was portrayed by the actor with the same name, Adrian.
Biography[]
Adrian has presumably lived as a businessman for many years. He's got a wife whom he had Laís with and lived normally with them. However, his life turned upside-down when his daughter Laís started to present symptoms of her kleptomania. It's implied that it all started when Laís was a child in school and started stealing from her classmates. Adrian tried his possible to treat her disorders, including sending her to psychologists and psychiatrists, even trying to treat her with medicines, but all to no avail, as Laís remained with her strong urge to manipulate people and steal all around. This got even worse when she became an adult, when she started to manipulate her new neighbors so she could pretend her father was abusive toward her and earn their trust, as well framing Adrian for everything she does to her targets.
This went on until the events of the series. Adrian is first seen catching Laís red-handed asking for money from other people and calling him lame. He sees her and realizes she was extorting money from others, he gets angry saying he's had enough of it and takes her inside their house while she complains and calls him an imbecile. He's been keeping her under control until the day she meets Pedro, which became her new target. He was worried looking for her and calling her name, to which she enjoyed to give a false help note to Rezende.
Although Laís went back toward her home, she may not have gone straight back home, since she appears in Rezende's home later that day. With that, Adrian kept looking around the neighborhood for her, knocking on door after door asking the other neighboors if they had seen her. To have some support in finding Laís, he also notified the police so they could try to find her as well.
After looking everywhere, he reaches Rezende's house and asks if he had seen her around or if she had gone there some time, to which Pedro denies. He also says that was the last place for him to look for her and that he was searching since earlier. Pedro asks how she was like and he says she is almost his height and a brunette, with Pedro denying having seen her again. Upon the moment he was entrusting Pedro to knock on his door if he saw anything, he sees Laís walking inside behind Pedro, he tries to warn Pedro that she was manipulating him and that he shouldn't believe her, but Pedro, who had already taken Laís' bait, closed the door fast and maintained it shut until he left. He gets worried, calls for her one more time and phones someone, probably the police.
The next day, Pedro had already been victim of Laís' scheme to steal from him. Adrian goes there again, to which Pedro angrily shoved him against the wall, but he says he wanted to talk about Laís and Pedro let him inside, reluctantly. Pedro said they were all already convinced about Laís' story about her life to be true, but Adrian starts debunking it revealing she was actually his biological daughter, since Laís had said she was adopted, and that she was a kleptomaniac who liked to deceive people. He says he was looking for Laís and that he wanted him to turn her in to him but Pedro says Laís had dissappeared, so neither the dwellers nor Adrian knew where she was. He answered Pedro's doubts about the day he saw him dragging her home forcefully saying he only did it because she was extorting money from other people. Pedro explains that she had already taken some stuff from them, which was a speaker, his money and his brother's PlayStation 5, and Adrian says he didn't expect least, since it was always the same thing. He ensures the residents that they would have their stuff back and that they would be notified once Laís showed up back to him.
Some days later, Adrian managed to bring Laís back home and gave the dwellers their belongings back. Since Laís is last seen on the phone, it is implied she was planning something else, which would cause more trouble for Adrian, much to his worry.
Personality[]
Throughout the miniseries, Adrian was presented as an abusive and dangerous person, as Laís was pretending to be his victim to the main characters and by Pedro witnessing the scene involving him taking Laís inside home forcefully, but from far away, keeping the dialog obscure so to keep Laís' true nature hidden until the climax. In reality though, Adrian was but just a concerned father who wanted to keep his daughter under control, as she was kleptomaniac and an extreme manipulator who has a bif urge to steal.
Adrian is actually calm and normal and only acts aggressively to Laís for her misbehavior and for her deeds of extortion and theft. During many years Adrian has struggled to cure or, at least, treat his daughter's condition, which means he is indeed a good father. It can be debated that he is the true victim since Laís would go on with her plans to earn other's trust and thus framming him for her thefts and even her other crimes, such as assaulting and binding people.
Appearance[]
Adrian always appears in a business attire to symbolize his paternal character, with a black jacket upon a blue shirt, sunglasses over his head which he wears a few times, black jeans and black and white sneakers. He is medium in height, dark skinned and has shallow black beard and mustache and short black hair. He also wears a silver-black ring on his right ring finger.

Trivia[]
- Despite Adrian being not the actual villain in the story, he was based on real life situations in which one's family member can be absurdly aggressive and abusive toward them.
- His parent character is similar to that of Mr. Palomino from In Love, as both seem to be rich budinessmen who takes great responsibility for their families.
- Adrian's last name is never said in the series, though the character is highly likely to have Bianchessi as his last name since his daughter's last name is also Bianchessi.
