~ Ana calming down Pedro and João. |
Ana Paula Mosconi is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside João Vitor) of rezendeevil's 2021 YouTube thriller miniseries A Vizinha da Toca (The Neighbor of the Den). She is a close friend of Pedro Rezende and the girlfriend of his younger brother João Vitor Rezende.
She was portrayed by the eponymous youtuber Ana Mosconi.
Personality[]
Although Ana also disagreed with Pedro in trying to elp Laís, it was only because she was worried about the whole situation and that it could bring problems to them. She, alongside João, were afraid of how Laís' problems could affect them with Pedro's intervention so they got angry at him and tried, unsuccessfully, to talk him out of it.
Ana, however, unlike João, was ultimately much more comprehensive, friendly and charming towards others, especially when she begins understanding what Laís said she was going through. Upon a coincidental situation where Ana got angry with Laís, they started to be friendly with each other and Ana got convinced that she was actually needing help.
This shows that Ana is much more open-minded than João and, at the same time, less impulsive than Pedro, since she gradually understood Laís overtime after thinking it was a bad idea to help her. With that, Ana agreed with Pedro that she needed their help and that her case was very serious.
Biography[]
Ana met Pedro and João while they were studying at the same school, in which is the same where João started dating Ana. Ana also has made some other friends in the school and some outside too, being Letícia impliedly one of them. During that time, they've been hanging out together until they graduated and both Rezende and João moved to a new house to live by themselves for the first time.
Once they've done it, Ana and João have a conversation in which she agreed to have breakfast with them in their new house. She makes it, though she gets late and has breakfast in her own house anyway and go to the boys' house, where she explains to Pedro why she had already had breakfast in her home. While with them, Pedro boasts about his channel having reached 109 subscribers and asking Ana if she had already subscribed, to which she confirms as João says he sent her the link via WhatsApp. Pedro also enjoys the moment to show her the video he recorded of Laís, which he had just met, in which she was in a towel and on the phone in her backyard, but Ana disapproved it saying he was invading the girl's privacy and being disrespectful by recording her. She then gets a call from her friend Letícia, who asks her to fetch her to the boys' house and that she couldn't order an uber, making Ana annoyed for the fact she had already arrived and already had to leave to fetch her, and she goes.
When they're both in the boys' house, Ana gets annoyed because Letícia kept complaining about her having taken too long to take her, about the heat and her hunger, because she hadn't had breakfast. João offers some leftovers from their breakfast to Letícia and Ana also suggests her to order something from her phone. She asks about Pedro and João says that he was upstairs in his room. She confirms if Letícia had already ordered anything so there would be no more annoyance from her, and asks João what they should do next.
Some time later, Ana takes Letícia back and returns to the boys' house. She spends some time with João in an empty room in the first floor. Pedro, then, comes rushing into the room while they were there talking about he was now absolutely sure the neighbor, Laís, was suffering something bad from her father. He shows some evidences which could confirm it, including Adrian being aggressive towards Laís and the paper she gave him, in which was written "help me". However, neither João or Ana believed Pedro. They seem to have started to believe his claims about Laís, but were still against his intentions in doing something about it. Ana and João calls out Pedro for wanting to take initiative of intervening between whatever could be happening with Laís, saying he was going too far and was putting himself and them in some possible danger, but Pedro did not listen and decided to take some initiative alone, leaving them both alone in the room. In there, João kept talking about how he was obsessed with their neighbor and Ana, agreeing, says he had no idea that it could cause problems for themselves too, or even get himself hurt by her father for intervening in their situation. They hear the doorbell ringing and go answer it, and they see Laís, who was desperately calling for their help.
Pedro also comes to the front door after hearing it while they let her in and lets her sit in their sofa. Laís tells she was searching for their help and that her relationship with her father was very complicated. She tells he often mistreats her by being aggressive to her, as Pedro had seen in his terrace. Pedro asks João and Ana to leave and have a conversation with her alone, so they go to the hallway behing the living room. There, they talk desperately about how they disagreed with the current situation and that Pedro was giving them headaches. Ana decides that they had to talk him out of his willingness, but João, knowing Pedro, knew they could call him but he would stand up nonstop for his opinion and still think they must help Laís.
João calls him and they both start arguing with Pedro about Laís. They attempted to convince him that helping her was a call for major trouble and that he needed to quit it immediately. But Pedro wasn't getting convinced by them, he kept telling them that they needed to do it because her father was dangerous and she needed to stay away from them. The reason they try to talk him out of it with is justifying its danger by saying her father could break into the house at anytime, about which Pedro tried to talk some sense into them. Pedro then makes the suggestion of letting Leís stay in their house for some days, to which both João and Ana reacted negatively, but they tolerated his decision once he promised to take all the blame and responsibility should anything ever go wrong.
After that, Pedro tells Laís that they all agreed to help her and presented her the room where she would reside. The next day, while Pedro and João talk outside, Ana catches Laís messing with her makeup in João's room and gets angry at her for not at least asking to use them, then she takes all the stuff back to her makeup case. To calm the mood down, Ana asks if she was better. Ana also apologizes for the way she neglected her situation for thinking about themselves only, as she explains it included a lot of stuff by helping her and the possibility of her father causing chaos with them, and says that she now understood her side of the story. After that, Ana agrees with getting a towel, as Laís requested, and in also lending her some of her clothes, and they go downstairs so Ana can show her some. Laís tries some and both agree that it fitted her perfectly. Pedro and João come in talking about their idea of watching a movie. Pedro suggested horror, but Ana said she was a scared of it, and they all go to the room to watch it.
They spend the afternoon watching a movie in the main room when João decides to make some popcorn for the occasion and Ana goes along. In the kitchen, before João got the popcorn ready, they start talking about Laís, Ana tells him about earlier when she caught Laís messing with her makeup and got angry at her, but then calmed herself because she understood her sideand that she believed her. João reminded Ana that she had still run away from her home and that he couldn't sleep well the previous night of unease, but Ana says that they had to give her a chance due to what she was supposedly going through. João then tells about when he agreed about letting Laís stay, and that she could stay for a while but nothing else could be done after those days were over, to which Ana reluctantly agrees. She makes company to João while he gets the popcorn ready.
The next day, in the afternoon, João and Ana were chatting next to the pool of the house while Pedro and Laís talked upstairs in Pedro's room. João kept complaining about how anxious he felt about the whole situation and how it was negatively affecting his sleep. He also complained about the fact Pedro seemed too in love with Laís, but Ana clearly expressed annoyance with his behavior. She kept telling him that no matter what he thought, they needed to help Laís out and that there was no problem in letting Pedro and Laís have their romance, about which João still kept complaining. A while later, Pedro answers the door when he hears the doorbell ringing and it was Laís' father. He talked a little with him but rapidly closed the door and locked him out after he saw Laís walking by inside. João and Ana hear the noises and go check on it askis what happened, Pedro tells it was her father and both João and Ana get concerned about it, but João was in pure despair. João and Pedro start arguing with each other, but Laís interrupts to tell her whole story. She says that she was adopted when she was 3 and that her father lost control of himself after her mother's supposed death and started taking out his anger on her everyday by leaving her locked home alone and even intentionally starving her.
Pedro said he understood while João still disagreed with helping Laís because she was away from her home and father. Ana even shows she was upset with João for arguing with Pedro and making Laís leave the scene. She also puts and end to Pedro and João's argument saying it was useless to keep fighting and that they needed to think together to get through with the situation. They apparently spent the rest of the day without seeing Laís and each one went to sleep as it was. The next morning, Ana and João rushed to the unfinished room after hearing Pedro's screams, they found him tied up in there and helped him out. While Ana helped Pedro calm down, Pedro was trying to remember what happened previously, but nothing came to his mind. They both take Pedro to the main room and try to make him remember what happened, but to no avail. Then they notice that some of their stuff were missing, like Rezende's money, João's PlayStation 5 and their speaker from the living room. Ana goes to the back to look for Laís but doesn't find her. They presume it would have been Adrian's doing, João and Pedro start arguing again, which makes Ana more afflicted. When the doorbell rings again, Pedro answers it for Adrian, who says to want to talk about Laís and the actual truth behind everything.
While Adrian is there, he reveals that Laís was actually a kleptomaniac manipulator who likes to trick people into having her trust just so she can steal their objects and later frame him for all she does. He debunks Laís story saying her mother wasn't actually dead, but sick because of everything Laís did, and also showing a document proving Laís was his actual biological daughter and that she had various disorders, which proved that Laís was the one who stole from them. Ana expressed pure disbelief with all that. João tries to make Pedro remember once again what happened the last night and Pedro answers saying he had recorded a video explaining to the audience why he hadn't been recording for his channel so much, then he drank some water before finally going to bed. Witin all that, Pedro remembers that he felt strange after he drank the water, which was the cause for him to have slept very heavily. That got the conclusion that Laís had drugged his glass of water so he could knock out and she could drag him to the unfinished room and tie him up there, only to then steal their objects. Ana was surprised for the fact that Laís had put something in his water and called her crazy for her father, to which he agreed. After that, Adrian made sure they would get their stuff back and would notify them whenever Laís returned home, while also apologizing for Laís' behavior. Some days later, they get their belongings back and decided they could take life back to normal.
