Anguirus is the deuteragonist of Godzilla: Cataclysmic Kaiju Combat. He is a giant Ankylosaur-like monster and Godzilla's best friend.

Before the invasion began, Anguirus was inhabiting South Africa after surfacing from Hollow Earth.
Godzilla: Cataclysmic Kaiju Combat[]
Anguirus is the second individual of his species to be seen and was one of the many monsters inhabiting Monster Island. Unlike the first individual, who fought Godzilla, this member became a close friend and ally to Godzilla.
Teaming up with Godzilla against Gigan and Lord Ghidorah[]
One night in 1972, Godzilla and Anguirus were awakened by the sound of the Exif and Bilusaludo's "action tapes" being played. Worried about what was going on, Godzilla sent Anguirus in investigate, but when Anguirus arrived at the shore, the Military mistook him as a threat and attacked him. When Anguirus got back to Monster Island, he asked for Godzilla's assistance, and the two monsters began swimming towards Tokyo and World Children's Land to confront the aliens' pawns, Lord Ghidorah and Gigan. When the fight started, Anguirus was immediately overpowered by Gigan, and so was Godzilla was he starting fighting Lord Ghidorah. When the Godzilla Tower was destroyed, the mind control over the alien monsters was severed, so Godzilla and Anguirus regrouped and used this temporary distraction to their advantage. After a while, Gigan retreated and left Lord Ghidorah behind for Godzilla and Anguirus to attack. After that, both of the evil aliens had enough and retreated. Victorious, Godzilla and Anguirus returned to Monster Island.

- His sprites are the Anguirus sprites from the SNES game, Godzilla: Kaijuu Daikessen.
- Anguirus is one of MUGENWarrior's favorite Godzilla monsters.
- Like Godzilla and Mothra, during Godzilla Monster of Monsters CREEPYPASTA, Anguirus' roar will change depending on what planet he's on.
- Due to not appearing until Dementia, Anguirus doesn't use any roars for Earth, Mars, Pathos, or Trance.
- On Dementia, he uses the 1955 Anguirus roar.
- On Entropy, he uses one of the Showa Anguirus roars.
- On Extus, he uses another one of the Showa Anguirus roars. However, since he's absent on Extus, it's never seen in action.
- On Zenith, he uses the Final Wars Anguirus roar.
