Azima Abbas is the overarching protagonist of Crystallic’s Starbound Trilogy. She serves as the unseen overarching protagonist of Starbound: The Black Nebula, the tritagonist of Starbound: Rise of the Stargazers and one of the four tritagonists of Starbound: The Glitch Empire. She is a human, and the protector who vanquished The Ruin. She was a friend of Katsu and Tori back in their days together, and came back to save them. She has a crew of her own that was captured by the Glitch Empire, and was motivated to get them back. While she does accidentally offend people with the stuff she says, she means completely well. She is currently the Grand Protector of the New Protectorate.

Personality[]

Azima seems to be a pretty energetic and outgoing person. She is highly determined, and will stick to a goal once she sets her mind to it. For example, when her crew was captured, she began doing anything to get them back, joining the Black Nebula to get them to help her, while she would help them with their struggles, even reuniting with Katsu and Tori. She’s a very friendly person, who tries her best to be nice and help people. However, she does often struggle with her speech, as she sometimes ends up saying the wrong things and comes across as quite rude or arrogant, even though she doesn’t mean to.

Despite her seemingly confident attitude, she is shown to be very insecure and a bit sensitive deep down. She’s well aware that she often says the wrong thing by mistake, and tries her best to not offend people, then she gets upset when she does. She feels very guilty for what happened to her father, as she once cussed out a criminal, who proceeded to attack her, but her father defended her and got killed. This started her desire to protect people, and to keep people out of danger. She’s willing to put her life on the line for people, just like her dad did for her.

Heroic Deeds[]

  • She is always protecting people across the universe, and lending aid when she can.
  • She rescued Koichi from the Occasus Cult when they attacked the Grand Pagoda Library.
  • She defeated Big Ape alongside Tatasia and Nightheart, which played a vital part in ending the Miniknog. (GOODNESS ZONE)
  • She defended The Baron’s castle from Asra Nox.
  • She killed The Ruin, a destructive monster that destroyed earth and would have destroyed more planets if Azima didn’t destroy it, saving the universe from its wrath. She actually died doing this, but was revived by the Cultivator due to her act. (GOODNESS ZONE)
  • She joined the Peacekeepers, helping keep crime down across the universe.
  • She defeated and arrested Asra Nox, the leader of the occasus cult.
  • At the end of the first story, she stopped by Ethyl and told him to give Katsu and Tori some matter manipulators she got.
  • She searched across the universe for her crew after they got captured by the Glitch Empire.
  • She fought against Moonquill when she attacked the Black Nebula, stopping her from arresting anyone.
  • She and Ethyl fought against Ezalco, while the rest of the crew raided the temple for the Ancient Kluex Staff.
  • She and Ethyl beamed the crew up after Lexie’s distress signal, saving them from Xochtal.
  • During the Climax, she, Katsu and Tori fought against the Stargazer fleets, stopping them from attacking the avians on that planet. (GOODNESS ZONE)
  • She defeated Ezalco on the ship, but when he was dangling off the edge, she offered him her hand, offering to spare him even after everything he did. (GOODNESS ZONE)
  • She helped fight against Xochtal Reklaw and helped damage the Ancient Kluex Staff.
  • She stayed by Lexie’s side while she was comatose.
  • She refused to join Stormlance.
  • She helped look for the ships for everyone to escape Ragnarok Delta I.
  • She and Ludvig planned to revive the protectorate for a while, and with everyones help, she finally put it into action. (GOODNESS ZONE)
  • She and Ludvig defended Solunar Nexus I from the Glitch Empire, and tried to reason with Moonquill.
  • She helps convince Moonquill to redeem herself and face her father. She even gives Moonquill her manipulator to defend herself and escape if she needs to.
  • She accepted a redeemed Moonquill onto her team.
  • She fought against Stormlance with Ethyl and Moonquill for quite some time, before the rest of the crew arrived.

“ I... I actually gave it to her of my own will. Now, before you throw a fit at me! We... we talked to her in the cell, I think she's trying to change. She says she'll confront her father tomorrow. I gave her the manipulator so she could defend herself if anything happens... „

Then, you all got captured by our enemy turned ally, then I met Katsu and Tori again, then met everyone else on this crew... „

Azima is a 22 year old Arabic human with black eyes, purple hair with pigtails and tanned skin. She wears a purple protectorate tank top, a purple skirt and purple boots. She wears a backpack for all her adventuring gear.
