This hero was proposed but was rejected by the community for not being pure enough or lacks what is necessary to be a purely good-hearted hero. Hero Overview

Bambi is one of the supporting characters in the Character What Sega and one of the deuteragonists in Character What: Chronicles, Bambi is also the main protagonist from Disney's 1942 film Bambi.

Personality[]

Bambi is very happy, innocent and playful little fawn who is curious and shy, but enjoys having adventures and spending time with his friends, Thumper, Flower, and Faline and loves having fun. He is very nice to everyone in the forest and other characters considerate to be his friends.

Bambi didn't trust humans due to learning from his mother that "Man" is the most dangerous thing in the forest, and most likely form the experience of losing his mother to a human known as "Man". However, after being saved by Ben Tennyson, he begun developed a new appreciation for humans and change his outlook of the world upon realizing not all humans are malevolent as Man. Overtime, Bambi begun to trust humans after spending more time with Ben Tennyson and learning more about them form Shadow Joe. Unfortunately, Bambi decided to keep his interaction with humans a secret to father, The Great of the Forest, knowing he wasn't understand, even from Shadow Joe point of view. He was also no longer scare of encountering with humans, but remembers from Shadow Joe to be careful who he can trust, since there are some humans that are bad and are cruel toward animals. Bambi is also willing to help a human, as he risk his life to save a little girl from a blazing building in "Bambi the Hero".

Bambi has deep fear of "Man" who kill his mother and whenever he aware of Man's present he become deeply frightened and will hide himself from the hunter. In "Man in the Forest", Bambi overcomes his fear of Man and confronts the hunter for killing his mother.

Bambi is very brave, as he willing to help Shadow Joe fight against villains, despite being in a disadvantage against large or powerful enemies due to being a little fawn. Bambi is also willing to put himself at risk to protect his friends from being harmed by making the villains turn their attention to him instead. His bravery has developed throughout the course of the series, as shown he was not afraid to investigate a abandoned mansion that was assumed to be haunted by ghosts, but revealed to be Ghost Pokemon (Gastly, Haunter and Gengar) instead, he wasn't even terrified of them at all, unlike Thumper and Flower. Bambi is also willing to help Shadow Joe defeat his enemies, even if it means either getting himself injury or killed in the process, as shown in "Spider-Man in Paris" when he tries help Shadow Joe fight Doctor Octopus (Sami Raimi) but only to get knock back into a car by one of his mechanical arms and ends up injuring his back in attempt to assist to Shadow Joe into stopping the villain.    

In Character What: Chronicles, Bambi found his normal life in the forest boring due to nothing extraordinary happens beside the dangers of Man's visits in the forest, and wish he could join with Shadow Joe on his adventures to help make life better for everyone rather than just being the young of the forest, but Shadow Joe didn't want Bambi to join with him along Dawn and Twilight Sparkle because their adventures involves facing powerful and dangerous villains which could put him in moral peril, making Bambi feel depressed of not having any chance of being a hero. However, Bambi came to a flaming building and heard about there was a little child still inside, Bambi at first decided to wait for Shadow Joe to come rescue the young girl. Unfortunately, Shadow Joe for unknown circumstances was slowly losing his powers therefore was ultimately delayed, so Bambi made the choose to rescue the girl by himself before it's was too late. When Bambi successfully saved the girl form the building and the girl's mother show gratitude toward him for his selflessness, he felt prove of himself, not for the pride of being a hero, but for doing the right thing. Throughout the series, he became more mature and responsible in many ways, due to

Bambi is very forgiving, as evidenced when he bears no grudge toward Wile E. Coyote for trying to eat him throughout Character What: Chronicles. As shown in Bambi's First Date, when Wile E. was left behind in a collapsing mine, Bambi was more than willing to save Wile E. Coyote from being trapped in the mine still collapsing, despite his previous actions. Later in the episode when Wile E. write a letter for Shadow Joe to read out to Bambi to apologize for his actions. After hearing this apology, Bambi forgive Wile E. and he hold no grudge for the coyote. Furthermore, Bambi is willing to give his former enemies the benefit of a doubt, as shown he was more willing to trust Discord and believing that he is truly reformed, showing that he willing to give Discord a chance to show that he have changed for the better good.    

Bambi is prove to be incorruptible, as he shows no jealously of Twilight Sparkle and Dawn being capable of fighting villains and join with Shadow Joe on his adventures. Bambi didn't want to engage fight with Steele, not because he was too strong for him to fight, but knowing violence is not the answer. Bambi also has a high sense of morally, as stated that even if he was a full growth buck, Bambi will never intend to kill Man despite murdering his mother, knowing that killing the hunter would not make him better than Man. Bambi also has a incorruptible willpower as he incapable of becoming evil by Shadow Aaron's dark powers.     

Bambi cares deeply about his friends and family and willing to risk his life to save them; example are when he was transformed into a young buck (by Shadow Joe) in "Bambi Grows Up", Bambi rescued Faline from group of hunter dogs and stay behind to fight them so Faline will have more time to escape.     

Due to Shadow Joe's guidance and wisdom, Bambi has become more compassionate and sympathetic, he is more then willing to help those in needs, especially humans. Bambi rescued Marie from a fire, returns Granny's lost handbag (from Looney Tunes), help guides Alice (from Disney's Alice in Wonderland) out lost in the woods and returns her back to her mother, and warming the police about a robbery. This earns Bambi with the honor of earning the Medal of Wisdom and became Shadow Joe's top subject.

  • Excellent Wits: Bambi is extremely clever, as he is able to think ahead and gain advantages in situations. He is able to outsmart enemies multiple times throughout the series, as first demonstrated in Bambi the Hero, he is able to outmaneuver and outsmart Vilgax by tricking him into hitting a power generator.
  • Excellent Strength: Bambi is quite strong for his age, as he is able to overpower Ronno, despite being the youngest fawn, and was able to lift Wile E. Coyote by grapping his hand with his mouth and dragging back up the edge. As a buck, he is much more stronger, due to his muscular build.
  • Excellent Durability: Bambi is able to survive being smash into a car by one of Doctor Octopus's tentacles, thought he sustain a broken back from the impact.
  • Excellent Speed: Bambi is very fast, as he is able to outrun Ronno and the other older bucks, despite being the youngest, and also able to outrun Ectonurites such as Ghostfreak. As a buck, he is much more faster.
  • Excellent Agility: Bambi is quite agile, as he is able to dodge several energy beams from Vilgax, and evade falling boulders.
  • Antlers (formally): As a buck, Bambi has two-pointed antlers on his head, though he lose this ability when he transform back into a fawn, but would regain his antlers once he matures.

Former Powers[]

  • Laser Vision: Bambi can project red laser beams from his eyes.
  • Butterfly Transformation: Bambi can spawn large butterfly wings from his back and grow antennas on top of his head.
    • Flight: Using his butterfly wings, Bambi is capable of flying with amazing speed and agility, he is also faster as Felicity in her butterfly form.
    • Wind Generation: Similar to Felicity, Bambi can used his wings to create strong gusts of wind.

Relationships[]

Faline[]

Much like the canon counterpart, Faline is Bambi's friend and love interest. When meeting her for the first time, Bambi becomes very shy to be near a very petty fawn like Faline. But after a little nudge, he started playing with Faline and overcomes his shyness. However, he regains his shyness after developed romantic feelings her during the second time they met.

The Great Prince of the Forest[]

The Great Prince of the Forest is Bambi's father.

In Character What: New Hopes, due to his father's prejudice toward humans; believing that all humans are bad as Man, the hunter who killed his mate and always coming to the forest to hunt animals, Bambi decided to never tell his father about his interaction with humans, especially Ben Tennyson, knowing that his father wasn't understand and would believe that Ben Tennyson just as bad as every human in general, regarding that Bambi and Ben Tennyson are best friends. However, the Great Prince of the Forest eventuality learned the truth from Thumper and Flower that Bambi has been interacting with humans, including Ben Tennyson, the first human that Bambi ever met. The Prince of the Forest became angry with the fact that Bambi has been interacting with humans which is forbidden by the Great Prince. Thumper and Flower are forced by the Great Prince to reveal Bambi's whereabouts in the forest. Upon seeing Ben Tennyson with Bambi and Faline, the Great Prince charges at Ben Tennyson, which he transforms into Chromastone to prevent himself from getting severe bodily harmed by the Great Prince. After the Great Prince defeating Ben Tennyson, he delivers him a warming to never return to the forest, much to Bambi's dismay. Shortly after Ben Tennyson leaves, the Great Prince angerly berates Bambi for breaking his rule of interaction with humans. Bambi explains that Ben Tennyson saved him from a pack of hunter dogs and learned from Shadow Joe that not all humans are bad. However, the Great Prince dismisses Bambi's claims and lose his temper, he forbade Bambi from ever leaving the forest to prevent him from having anymore human contact, completely ignored how much emotional hurt inflicted on Bambi. Fed up with his father's disbelief with humans, Bambi unintentionally disrespects his father, saying that he doesn't want be like his father, due to trying him into believing that all humans bad, which they not. After Bambi tearfully runs away, the Great Prince was horrified for what Bambi tell him in a such heart-wrenching way, now feeling extremely remorseful over the way he treated his son, he leaves to find Bambi to apologize for his harsh behaviour.

Shadow Joe[]

In Character What: Chronicles, Bambi finally grew tired of living the usual forest life, due to nothing extraordinary happens beside the dangers of Man's visits in the forest. Bambi wishes to join Shadow Joe's on his adventures. However, Shadow Joe was initially reluctant to allow Bambi to partake in his adventures, due to the fact he is only a fawn and didn't want Bambi in danger when it come to fighting villains, making Bambi feel depressed that he might never be able to do heroic deems, which Shadow Joe apologizes for not letting Bambi be part of his team. However, Shadow Joe learned from a fireman that Bambi had rescued a young girl from a burning building, he was impressed of Bambi's heroic action, and make him has second thoughts of not allowing Bambi to partake in his adventures. Throughout the 5th series, they developed a special relationship with ease other, Shadow Joe took Bambi under his wing and teach the benefits of a being a true hero. Throughout the series, their friendship grew into a more father-son relationship and share a strong bond with ease other. Bambi recognize Shadow Joe's wisdom and guidance, as he often turned to Shadow Joe for advice. Bambi is extremely obedient to Shadow Joe. In the end of Character What: Chronicles, Bambi was willing to sacrifice himself for Shadow Joe, as shown in Character What: Friends Forever, when Shadow Aaron shoots a powerful lightning blast to destroy the life-crystal on Shadow Joe's forehead, Bambi jumps in the way and takes the blast instead, getting himself killed in the process. After Shadow Aaron's defeat, Shadow Joe was deeply saddened and blamed himself for Bambi's demise since he let Bambi join with him on his adventures in the first place. At Bambi's funeral, Shadow Joe and the other characters mourn over Bambi's death and posthumous rewards Bambi with honors. However, Shadow Joe's mother, Queen Lorraine, rewarded Bambi with another chance in life for his heroic sacrifice, Bambi is revived and Shadow Joe became overjoyed to see that Bambi alive and embraces him. In the end of the 5th series, Shadow Joe invited Bambi to rejoin on his adventures again. However, Bambi decided to stay in the forest for the being time, saying that he needs to catch up with some quality time with his father and his forest friends. Shadow Joe respected Bambi's decision and share a goodbye hug before leaving the forest, Bambi also promised someday rejoin Shadow Joe and his team.

While their relationship is not explored much in the rest of the franchise, but they remain as close friends, and Bambi would still to come Shadow Joe for advice.

Genie[]

Genie is one of Bambi's closet friends. When Genie explains to Bambi about genies can grant wishes, Bambi wishes for his mother to be bring back to life. However, Genie also explains that he can no longer grant wishes, due to his freedom and bring someone back from the dead is against the rules of the genies, much to Bambi's disappointment. Seeing Bambi depressed, Genie apologized to Bambi for not being able to being his mother back and comforts him.

Twilight Sparkle[]

Bambi and had a close relationship with Twilight Sparkle. Upon meeting Bambi for the first time, Twilight learns from Bambi's father, the Great Prince of the Forest that Bambi was killed by Man, she quickly sympathize with him, knowing that he will be devastated over the loss of his mother. In Character What: Chronicles, their relationship is greatly explored further, as she takes a more sisterly role for Bambi and often help him with his problems and provide him with some advice.

Felicity (RBUK)[]

Bambi first met Felicity in Rainbow Butterfly Unicorn Kitty, he was amazed that she is part butterfly since he like butterflies. Throughout Character What: Chronicles, both Bambi and Felicity developed good terms with ease other. Felicity deeply cares about Bambi and willing to protect him from various villains.

Miguel (RBUK)[]

Bambi and Miguel have a good relationship where Miguel often calling Bambi "bro". Like Felicity, Miguel cares deeply about Bambi and willing to protect him from enemies. However, though they had good terms, Bambi is not afraid to reprimand Miguel whenever he doubts Shadow Joe's leadership and wisdom. Bambi also deeply cares about Miguel, as shown when he was horrified to see Miguel get brutally beaten up by Wile E. Coyote, he attempts to surrender himself to Wile E. in order for Miguel would be spared from anymore harmed.

Brain (Igor)[]

Bambi first met Brain when he arrive in Malaria with Shadow Joe, Dawn, Twilight Sparkle, Felicity and Miguel. During their visit, Shadow Joe took them to Dr. Glickenstein's castle to met Igor, the hunchback who saved the kingdom of Malaria from King Malbert's tyranny. After Shadow Joe introduced his friends to Igor, Brain was the second of Igor's inventions to meet Shadow Joe and his friends, Bambi was approached by Brain who thinks that Bambi is his new pet from Igor and believes that Bambi is a deercorn, despite not having a horn.

Wile E. Coyote[]

Bambi and Wile E. Coyote both started out as enemies. Throughout Character What: Chronicles, Wile E. makes several attempts to capture and eat Bambi, but consistently fails miserably, due to the interferences of Shadow Joe or other characters. Despite this, Bambi hold no resentment of Wile E. Coyote for his actions, as evidenced in Bambi's First Dale, when Wile E. was left behind in a collapsing mine, Bambi chose to save him rather that leave behind, showing that despite the fact that them are enemies, he does not wish physical harm or death upon the coyote . Afterwards, Wile E. was amazed by Bambi was willing to risk his life to save him, despite everything he did to Bambi and Faline.

Trivia[]

  • While Bambi is a supportive character in the long run he is by the most important character in the series. Because in the episode Time After Time, if he hasn't went into a mysterious portal to travel through time to point when Shadow Joe wasn't a hero yet and had himself trapped in a hole under a fallen tree, Shadow Joe wasn't had save him and gain confidents to be a hero he is today. Bambi putting himself in peril was the main reason Shadow Joe developed his confidents to become a hero upon realizing he has the heroism within him after saving Bambi.
  • A running gag is when Bambi see a skunk he call it a flower.
  • Bambi never interacted or seen Man in both Bambi films. but in Character What, Bambi meets Man face to face. Unlike in the first when Man manages to shoot Bambi as adult buck, but survives the gunshot. Man manages shoot Bambi as a young fawn, but survives just like in the first film.
  • Bambi never met Darth Vader or even heard of him, but in one episode, Darth Vader see Bambi unconscious and try to kill him, but only to be rescue by Shadow Joe. Bambi and Darth Vader appears in some scenes together in the some episodes, but they don't interact ease other nor take notice of ease other.
  • Bambi is one of the few characters who are willing to trust Discord and believing that he has reformed.
