Beta Luigi is the beta version of Luigi. He is based on Luigi's appearance from Super Mario 64. He only shows up in SMG4: AREA 64 making him a one-time character. Mario found him chained up while invading the N64 base to save Bowser.

Mario freed Beta Luigi and both of them tried to find Bowser and escape, but at some point Beta Luigi and all the soldiers were all sucked in a portal, which caused Mario to become sad over his fate.

It is revealed in the end of the video that while they were no longer in Mario's universe, Beta Luigi and the soldiers survived, as they were shown in their own game called Super Mario Crane Game.

Later on, he appeared as a cameo in the episode called Mario Scratches His A**, where he was seen fighting against Hugh Neutron.

Personality

According to SMG4: AREA 64, Beta Luigi has shown to be good and completely selfless, especially to Mario who cared about him.

Physical Appearance

Beta Luigi looks about the same as Luigi because he wears the same green hat that's with a letter L on it, has the same blue eyes, black moustache and brown hair. He also wears a green shirt, white gloves dark blue overalls and brown shoes. The only difference between Beta Luigi and Luigi seems to be their height. Luigi appears shorter than Beta Luigi.

• He is quite similar to Clone Mario. However, unlike Clone Mario, Beta Luigi himself actually remained alive in his debut episode which was his only appearance.
• His G-Mod model was actually based on the Super Mario 64 model made by V-Tone, who served as "easter egg" which was on a level editor that's called Toad's Tool 64.
• Beta Luigi actually appears to be taller than Luigi.
• He doesn't like being cancelled as a game character.
