Billy McBride is one of the two tritagonists of the YouTube series, Disaster Almighty (alongside Dante Rodriguez).
He was an ordinary man who was chosen by a wizard named Trogon to become the first human warrior of the magical world of Koragon, after finding his amulet. He became a member of a group of heroes who were meant to protect both humans and creatures, called the Monster Fighters.
Personality[]
Billy is a man who cares about his family. He is heroic, noble, kind, selfless, stoic and stubborn. He tries his best to take care of his partner Dante ever since he found him in the orphanage, Dante tries his best to be a hero like him, but he gets scared and Billy can’t stand his shenanigans. He is a tactical genius, as he built useful gadgets for any situation.
Biography[]
I was just an ordinary teenager who lived with his parents and his 2 sisters, he would always take care of them. One day I saw something glowing and it was coming from the woods, he outside to investigate, all he found was an amulet. Turns out that the amulet was magical and it came from another world, it teleported him into that world, the magical world called Koragon. Billy met Trogon, a powerful wizard who leads a team of heroes who protect both Koragon and Earth (Billy’s earth) from monsters, called Monster Fighters. It is revealed that Trogon was the one who created the amulet and sent it to earth so that it could find a champion who would become the first human Monster Fighter. Billy was surprised to hear that he was chosen to become a monster fighter, then he accepted Trogon’s offer, so the amulet went inside of Billy and he got his own armor and his own sword and he was thrilled. Billy started training to become a monster fighter and he used his wits in order to overcome any obstacle, he successfully completed his training and officially became a member of the monster fighters, when he showed Trogon and the other Monster Fighters the gadgets he made, they’re were very impressed. Some time ago, he saw a guy named Dante, an teen whose from the orphanage, Billy noticed that he was very lonely and sad and he decided to make him a member of the monster fighters so that he can have an amazing and better life. Billy told and showed Dante everything and Dante was so excited, so Billy started training him the same way Trogon trained him, but Dante wasn’t really doing great. Whenever there were foes who needed to be stopped, Dante was determined to prove to Billy that he can be a warrior just like him. But Dante gets a little scared and Billy wasn’t impressed, he wants Dante t be more independent and encourages him to not be afraid.
One day, they went to another earth to rescue Conor and Eudora Powell from the deranged federal agent, Jack Rorick. They tricked Rorick with a phony pizza phone call, and freed Conor and his mother from their binds.
