Bolt is a protagonist from the fan-made Happy Tree Friends spinoff, Fiction Pokémon Foes. He's the mascot of the series and is one of the more popular Pokémon characters. He's a mechanic Pikachu who repairs and builds machines from the Kanto Region. He can run at very high rates of speeds, being fast enough to run around around an entire park within a few seconds. He also has a famous rivalry with Wildfire the Charizard, one of the antagonists of the Fiction Pokémon Foes series.

Character Biography[]

Physical Appearance[]

Bolt is an average-sized yellow anthropomorphic Pikachu. He bares a resemblance to rodents such as mice (and possibly pika). Atop his head are long ears ending with sharp tips, the tips having a darker blue mark at the end of the ear. A light yellow diamond shape marking is located on his forehead which reaches his black heart-shaped nose. Bolt has black eyes with white pupils. On his cheeks are red spots with a yellow thunder bolt symbol them, the cheeks store electricity. His belly is a light yellow color with a blue thunder bolt symbol on his stomach, on the side of his body are brown stripes which are also seen on his back.

He has a long zigzag-shaped tail which looks identical to a thunder bolt. Bolt wears a big cap on his head with the back of the cap being dark blue whilst the front being white with a blue thunder bolt symbol. The dark blue bill of the cap covers Bolt's right ear, causing it to be slumped over. Along with the cap he wears dark blue rubber gloves and boots with a shiny texture. In some concept art drawn by the creator, Bolt was originally blue, but this would be changed as he figured once the series gained more popularity people would prefer if Bolt was yellow like Pikachu instead of blue.

Background[]

Bolt's power/type is Electric. He's a mechanic who repairs machines and vehicles, occasionally he's shown to be good at this job, although in some scenarios his machines often result in failure, leading to death or injuries. He especially needs to wear rubber gloves when he's working on machinery as to not accidentally convert too much electricity into the machines, possibly resulting in it malfunctioning and exploding, leading to his own death. Bolt is shown to be very nice and kind and and willing to share the berries he collected with other characters, he's also intelligent as he zaps berries with his electric powers, making them easier and more tender to chew and swallow. Bolt's very fast and can run around at high and powerful speeds, he often takes a run throughout the Kanto forests, and sometimes throughout the Kanto Town too, this however results in carnage and destruction. Whenever Bolt runs at high speeds he builds up more electricity as electricity sparks from his red electric pouches.

Even though he's known for being nice, he does seem have a disliking for slow characters such as Slow-Mo the Slowpoke, whom is of course well known for not only his slow movement but also slow thinking. Bolt often gets into fights with Wildfire the Charizard, one of the antagonists of the Fiction Pokémon Foes series. This is mainly because somewhere in the past, he and Wildfire were having a Pokémon battle, Bolt would then perform his signature move: Thunderbolt. Leading to Wildfire getting horrifically electrocuted and almost killed. Bolt however didn't intend to kill him but try to knock him out, or in this cause faint as they were just having a Pokémon battle. However he would unintentionally end up humiliating Wildfire in front of other Pokémon characters, as Wildfire would always consider himself one of the stronger Pokémon characters, only to end up getting defeated by a Pikachu.

Personality[]

Bolt is shown to be very kind and nice as he shares his berries with others, and also smart as he thinks quickly and uses creative manners to solve situations. Bolt will also work with other characters during Pokémon battles, and will also help other characters in harmful, risky situations. Despite his niceness, as stated earlier he isn't very fond of slow characters, most commonly Slow-Mo the Slowpoke as he moves and thinks extremely slow. Bolt has a highly active and sporty personality as he spends most of his time running around or playing sports along with a creative personality, however he becomes upset and frustrated when the machines he works on end up malfunctioning and self destructing, which often leads to him getting brutally injured or sometimes even killed.

However this is usually due to Bolt building his machines too quickly, since he doesn't seem to be very patient and rather just rushes often leading to it malfunctioning. This behavior is also presumably why he doesn't have a liking for slow characters, especially when they're ahead of him in a long line, often causing Bolt to accidentally crash into them, he still apologizes afterwards.

Powers/Skills[]

Electric Powers[]

Being an Electric-type Pokémon, he of course has electric powers, this can basically involve any Electric-type attack such as Thunderbolt, Electro-Ball, Thunder shock, etc. His thunderbolt attack can release around 100,000 volts which is powerful enough to power a lightbulb for days. It could also however lead to serious burn injuries and death. It's presumed due to his electric powers he runs at high rates of speed, giving him the power listed down bellow: Super-enhanced Speed.

Super-enhanced Speed[]

He's extremely quick on his feet and can run at high speeds, being easily able to outrun his enemies, or he runs around them and throws attacks at them, making it harder and more confusing for them to easily perfectly throw an attack back at him. Not to mention while running he gains more and more electricity within his electric pouches, technically gaining him more power.

Acrobatic Skills[]

During many Pokémon Battles, Bolt's seen doing many occasional backflips and risky moves, which is extremely useful and can also trick his opponent as he could backflip right behind them and throw an attack. This ability goes well with his super-enhanced speed, allowing him to not only run at powerful speeds, but also make long-distanced jumps, in which he usually bounces of objects and leaps higher into the air, or strikes his opponent.

Sharp Lightning Shaped Tail[]

Due to the tail's sharpness, it's not a surprise that it could be used as a weapon and easily slice other characters in half, it also carries electricity meaning it also zaps others who touch it. Bolt even has the ability to completely turn it into steel and smack others with it leading to injuries or death. This is him using the Steel-type Iron Tail attack.

Mechanic Repairing/Building Skills[]

He can create and easily repair machines which he can use to either distract others or use it as a weapon, sometimes Bolt might even rush the machine and run away as the Pokémon character with an intent to harm him may crash into the machine, leading to it exploding and either killing or brutally injuring them.
