Boyfriend is the overall main protagonist of the Friday Night Funkin animations made by Fera Animations. In the videos, he is a semi-famous rapper who gets into odd situations with his friends. He is also currently dating Girlfriend, whose parents (mostly her father) want to either humiliate or kill him for doing so.
Appearance[]
Boyfriend doesn't look too different from his appearance in the vanilla FNF, but he is shown to be slightly taller and has somewhat scrawny legs. His shirt also seems to be more of a lavender color than it is white.
Personality[]
Unlike his canon counterpart, Boyfriend is given a distinctive personality. He is kind and courageous, as he wants everyone around him to have a good time, even if those people are his enemies. As he was the only one to give Sky a present on her birthday, despite her obsessive personality towards him. He also yearns for Daddy Dearest's approval, as he was excited when the latter seemingly offered him a handshake after he and Girlfriend won in a volleyball game, but became disappointed when it was a fake-out and he rudely told him not to touch him while poking him in the eye.
However, Boyfriend can be a bit mean and disrespectful sometimes. This is most notably displayed where he victory dances on Garcello's corpse after his spirit seemingly departed to the after life. Garcello, however, noticed this and spent the entirety of the episode tormenting Boyfriend as revenge. Despite this, Boyfriend is a well-meaning person, as he likes to spend time with his friends, and even buries the hatchet with his enemies if they are willing to make peace.

- Unlike most interpretations, Boyfriend speaks actual language.
- Despite usually being the protagonist, Boyfriend isn't always the focus of the animations, as there are times where he doesn't even appear.
- It has been shown in the animations that when Boyfriend fuses with Mommy Mearest, they fuse into Kitty Kearest.
