Brigitte is a minor protagonist in the 3rd Overwatch Movie, a primary protagonist in Blademaster, and a supporting character in The 3 Junketeers and The Middleman.
Biography[]
Overwatch Movie 3[]
Brigitte is first seen leading Hanzo, Baptiste, Junkrat and Roadhog into Doomfist's omnium, and presumably destroys a portion of his army. Afterwards, she goes to protect Ramattra from Doomfist. She is instead flung into a field of Sentries with Junkrat, and - despite initial reluctance - works with him to destroy several Sentries. Afterwards, they escape via riding an explosion and is kissed by Junkrat. She calls him a lunatic.
Later, they work together to trap Doomfist, but he escapes and threatens Junkrat's life. He then throws Junkrat into a hydraulic press, but she saves him and returns the kiss. She, along with her everyone else, retreats as Tracer takes on Doomfist alone.
She is last seen on the Orca holding hands with Junkrat. Tracer calls them out for it, but reassures them that their secret's safe.
Blademaster[]
1 year later, she is making out with Junkrat when Emily tries to call her.
She is later seen at Watchpoint: Switzerland and tries to comfort Kiriko for being framed. She convinces Kiriko to take her mind off of the Blademaster, but this sort of backfires as Kiriko asks who she's sleeping with.
Later, she helps protect Emily's data from the Blademaster and is almost blown up, but is saved by Junkrat. She hugs him for what he did, but Kiriko reveals that he was a former wanted criminal, which shocks Brigitte.
While cleaning up the damage from the Blademaster's attack, she talks with Kiriko about how Junkrat lied to her after the omnium incident, and how she regrets some things she did with him. Emily then calls them over and they prepare to head to Watchpoint: Africa. Junkrat tries to apologize to her, but she shuts him down and leaves.
On the jet, Junkrat apologizes to her again, and this time she lets him speak. After his apology, the jet goes through turbulence and makes a rough landing, forcing them into a 'compromising' position. Kiriko sees this and tells them that she won't tell anyone. They then exit the jet and attempt to catch the Blademaster, and she ends up setting a trap in the vents with Junkrat.
30 minutes later, the Watchpoint Captain commends them for their unorthodox method to stop the Blademaster, and they figure out that they uploaded firmware globally. Brigitte later thanks Junkrat for saving her from the Blademaster in the vents.
While en route to Japan, she called a historian who informed her about nuclear explosives, and how several hundred could destroy Earth. She then tells Kiriko that there are thousands and that the Blademaster's final plan is already in motion.
After reaching the outskirts of Kanezaka, she and the team find a hatch and enter, blowing up several doors and finding a giant nuke. The Blademaster then locks them in and taunts them, but Junkrat places an explosive on the door and Brigitte bashes into it, freeing them. The team then searches for the Blademaster, and they break into a secure room, forcing them to fight off Hashimoto until the Blademaster blows up the room. Kiriko then heals the team, and they escape, and she and Junkrat head towards the bottom of the missile in an attempt to disarm it. However, the Blademaster knocks them into the rocket, and Junkrat keeps her from falling into the rocket's exhaust. Junkrat then proposes to her, and she takes off her armor so that Junkrat can pull her up and blow them to safety.
After Junkrat saves her, they reprogram the missile to fly into the ocean, preventing it from triggering a chain reaction that could've destroyed the planet.
2 days later, she is sharing drinks with the team before leaving to prepare wedding invitations.
Journeys[]
2 months after the Oxton incident, she officially ties the knot with Junkrat, and shares a conversation with Mercy before Chronoguard pulls Mercy aside.
The 3 Junketeers[]
3 weeks after the wedding, she and Junkrat are temporarily redirected to take out a Talon base, and she suffers from a fainting spell. She recovers from this and almost makes out with Junkrat, but he is pulled aside by Chronoguard.
While Junkrat is being briefed by Chronoguard, she talks with Mercy and Moira about her symptoms. They first start with a blood test, which yields nothing conclusive. Afterwards, Moira questions Brigitte about her symptoms, which included fainting, increased sensitivity and stress, habit shifts, and in increase in appetite and libido. After a quick thought, Moira handed Brigitte a pregnancy test, which returned positive, and excited Brigitte. Junkrat calls her after she found out and she told him the news, right as a Chronoguard officer hung up the call. Brigitte thought that Junkrat got scared.
When Junkrat arrives back to the hotel they were staying at, he explains what happened on his end she forgives him. Junkrat then gives her a toy bomb-defusing kit for the kid, and they finish their honeymoon.
The Middleman[]
Now 3 months pregnant, Brigitte was a spectator during Juno's skills assessment. She later hosted a baby shower, and was upset when Soldier: 76 didn't give his gift in person. When Juno came in with her gift, she unintentionally created an awkward moment by calling out her pregnant belly. Juno left the room before Brigitte could say anything, but she did appreciate the teddy bear gift.
She later ran into Juno in the hallways, and assured her that the earlier awkward moment was nothing to worry about. After a quick chat (And Maximilian being forced to participate in prison recreation), they head to a bar where Juno tries several different liquors. In the end, Brigitte took an intoxicated Juno back to her room.
During Soldier: 76's briefing on whether or not to use Juno's family as leverage to convince her to surrender herself, she voted against him.
