Anthropomorphic Characters

Anthropomorphic Characters are when non-human characters exhibit human-like traits. They can be animals that gain human-like sapience such as speaking in human tongues or doing everyday activities like a human being would. Although it is mostly associated with animals it is possible for anthropomorphic characters to be inanimate objects such as vehicles or abstract ideas.

Please keep in mind that not every animal hero is anthropomorphic, they have to act human-like (speak, wearing clothes, walking on 2 legs, talking with humans, etc.)

Note: Anthropomorphic characters can exhibit human-like traits or behaviors (typically mentally and optionally physically) without necessarily resembling humans physically. However, humanoid characters specifically resemble humans in form or appearance, making them anthropomorphic in a physical sense. Humanoid animals, objects, and other non-human beings can also fall under both categories. For instance, a humanoid animal is both anthropomorphic physically and falls under the humanoid category by having human-like bodies, standing upright, and having opposable thumbs, while maintaining their animalistic forms (e.g., Whitty, as a humanoid object). General humanoid characters may specifically resemble humans more closely (such as Meggy), but certain humanoid characters, such as animals and other beings, can have distinctive non-human forms with human-like characteristics.
