Anti-Heroes

An anti-hero is a central character in the story who will be on the good side but lack many heroic traits/goals of an actual hero. They may be considered selfish, or weak, or not have enough patience to the point wanting to take matters into their own hands whether it benefits them or not. There opposites are Anti-Villains due to these heroes fighting the good side but for a selfish cause and lacks traditional heroes qualities but anti-villains do the opposite of that.

Some of these anti-heroes can lead to becoming villains. And they could often be sympathetic towards the audience, or towards other people in the story.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Anti-heroes can't qualify as Pure of Heart because anti-heroes aren't always nice and some of them can oftentimes be jerks, they fight on the good side but for selfish causes, and they are only sometimes loyal and sympathetic. Pure of Hearts are always nice, selfless, humble, incorruptible, loyal and sympathetic. If an anti-hero becomes Pure of Heart, then remove them from this category since they are no longer an anti-hero.

They also can't qualify as Near Pure Good due to anti-heroes having too many traits that prevents them from being Pure of Heart while Near Pure Goods only have a few preventions. Near Pure Goods always fight on the good side and for selfless causes.
