Heroes who are approved as Inconsistently Admirable on the wiki of the same name. Though their heroic actions will always propel them beyond the good baseline of their work/franchise, they lack the qualifications required to be Pure of Hearts or Near Pure Goods. Typically, they'll be at least 50% of the way to being Pure of Hearts, but unlike PoHs or NPGs, they can have a wide variety of corrupting/mitigating qualities or certain parts of their stories might be played for shock value. Despite this, they will still be heroic enough to stand out, and the work they come from will still have at least a minor narrative and/or theme to it.

Some rejected PoHs and NPGs can qualify to be Inconsistently Admirable, but they also need to have preventions that are too strong to qualify or atleast too many preventions which prevented them from being PoH or NPG. Likewise, heroes that have not been rejected for either status can still qualify, as long as they meet the criteria.

Their opposites are Inconsistently Heinous villains.

Note: Inconsistently Admirable heroes CANNOT be Outright due to the fact they need to be heroic enough to go beyond the baseline for their work, while outright heroes fail the baseline for their work.

Sliding Scale Of Heroism[]

  • Pure of Heart - The best of best. They clear Admirable Standard, hasn't got any corrupting qualities (or had, but lost) and they know, that doing good things.
  • Near Pure Goods - Heroes who aren't actually Pure of Heart due to having very few preventions but come close or very close to Pure of Heart and really love doing good things.
  • Inconsistently Admirable - Heroes who, while not having the qualities needed to be considered PoH or NPG, nonetheless stand out in their settings for their heroism.
  • Heroes by Proxy - The worst of best. These heroes don't want to be a hero, but, for some reasons, they are heroes.
