Heroes who use certain forms of magic.

  • Wizards/Witches/Warlocks: Those who gained the capability of using magic mainly through extensive studies on magical spell books and writings. They pick dark/demonic magic as their main sorcerous power of choice, just in case these guys are considered Warlocks and Witches.
  • Sorcerers/Sorceresses: They mainly have the inborn talent for magic instead of it being studied. It means that they have mastered some spells and their creativity with magic before their sorcery-related educations gave them better insight and all.
  • Magi-Technicians/Techno-Magicians/Techno-magicians/Meta-Technicians: Those who normally uses magic and science and magic are able to be added here, as can beings that are born of a mystical fusion of technology and magic.
  • Illusionists: Those who able to make realistic illusions. These illusions aren't actually real however to their victim they can be realistic - lots of illusionists really like to make their victims believe these illusions are real so that they can trick them or simply mess with their minds unlike magic-users or reality-warpers. At times an illusionist's actual goal is to live in a fantasy world where he or she is happiest, however, some of them can become villains in order to keep their fantasy world alive.
  • Stage Magicians: Those who are magicians that perform magic tricks and use certain skills to entertain their audience with certain illusions. They tend to be normal people who just perform tricks like pulling rabbits out of hats, card tricks or pulling nickels out of anyone's ears, it is rare for them to have actual magical powers (some exceptions can apply).
  • Alchemists: Those who utilize the mystical science of Alchemy for their criminal goals. Alchemy differs from story to story however it commonly focuses on transmuting matter to turn it into something purer (the most habitual example is turning any metal into gold) and making oneself grow through experiments and meditation.
  • Enchanters/Enchantress: Their magical powers of choice are usually making someone/something under a spell.
  • Unconventional Scientists/Pseudoscientists: These are Magic Heroes with capabilities, powers, ideas or energies that, within their separate universes/words, are considered as a commonplace ore science, in spite of the fact that the capabilities are supernatural or aren't natural in the eyes of the viewers.
  • Emotion Vampires: Some heroes can channel specific emotions to enhance their powers through means that are mystical, be it from emotion of there own or of people around them. In contrast of villains with powers that are similar who might prefer negative emotions, heroes who possess this capability most times drawing their powers from more positive emotions involving support and hopes from other characters.
