Mischievous Heroes (also known as Heroic Troublemakers), are rascally mischief-makers that do mean well compared to villainous mischief-makers, however, these heroes are still likely to cause issues and get into some trouble, as well as having the tendency to engage in shenanigans like playing jokes on the heroes (or even villains) in rather silly ways, they act a bit underhand, come across as pretty devious, and they revel in spreading chaos and disorder for the thrill of being unruly and rebellious, even if they come across as ridiculous.

They are also known for being total pranksters who simply have fun by pulling pranks and tricks on people just for the sheer fun of it all, or they do things they are not supposed to do. Which means they are playful, childish, misbehaved, and tend to make several jokes that are played for laughs. It's taken to the point that their antics make them hard to be taken seriously.

However, there is a minor difference between Tricksters and Mischievous heroes. Despite both categories tending to go hand in hand with each other, most Tricksters generally don't go too far in their deviousness since they are often presented more in a solemn and honorable way (even if some of them provide comic relief), and they tend to have truly noble goals, standards and traits that stand out from Mischievous heroes, who are heroes that like to cause trouble and would often go way too far within their antics, which makes it harder for them to be taken seriously as heroes in contrast to Trickster heroes.

Note: Mischievous heroes aren't meant to be taken too seriously; therefore, they can't qualify as Pure of Heart (unless their mischief is fundamentally harmless and easily overshadowed by their noble acts and moral compass). Even if in very rare cases, some Pure of Heart heroes can pull humorous pranks but are still taken seriously as heroes in-universe (e.g. Tari), they should generally go under the Tricksters category instead (even if Pure of Hearts can have mischievous traits that are very harmless in general). Though many Near Pure Good heroes can still qualify as this if their mischief is moderate and still commit many heroic actions that are taken seriously regardless of their comical personality traits. (e.g. Joebotnik McCricket)

Note: Speaking of NPGs, if there are Near Pure Goods who have perverted traits or moments, they must fall under this category by default because it must be played for mischief and comedy reasons instead of it being treated as genuine malice, rape and harassment. Mainly because a NPG's minor doses of perversion are only treated as light-hearted acts (I.e. staring inappropriately, making inappropriate comments, and making some minor advances), as they are meant to come across as playful Casanovas or Seductresses compared to others that are sexually explicit, lewd and go way too far with their perverted actions. Their NPG status will only be disqualified for being complete perverts whose perversion remains as a corrupting trait, which is just far too much for coming close to Pure of Heart.
