Chica the Chicken is one of the overarching protagonists (alongside Springtrap) of the Five Nights at Freddy's web-series The Specials, created by TheHottest Dog.
She is an anthropomorphic chicken, who after being destroyed by Glitchtrap and left in the flipside at the orders of the Observer, is found by Springtrap and Ennard and is soon repaired with the help of some of the other animatronics.
She was voiced by text-to-speech in her debut, however received Gray Films and Stuff as an actual voice actor in The Special Strike Rebellion.
Appearance[]
In her debut, Chica took on an identical appearance to her original counterpart, however, after being broken and repaired twice, she received a far more sleeker redesign, that while not too different appearance wise, is far cleaner and more appealing than her original design.
Biography[]
Chica makes her first appearance in the Thanksgiving Special however she does not do anything noteworthy for the time being. However she would ultimately become important to the plot after she discovers Glichtrap's portal. to which she is quickly destroyed and left out of commission on the flipside. She is left there for a good amount of time until she is eventually found and brought back to the Specials world thanks to Springtrap and Ennard, however winded up with a severe case of amnesia.
At which point she is repaired thanks to the help of the other animatronics who managed to survive the war. She is given a new voice box along with being repaired and she soon helps out in the rebellion. It is after being forced to flee due to the Chief's revival, that she proceeds to motivate the other animatronics to go face the Chief and his army head on.
After leaving the portal, that Chica volunteers herself to distract the Chief using Freddy's hat, but winds up getting knocked out in the crossfire, it is at which point that she wakes up in a junkyard, at which point she spots Glitchtrap and remembers all of the memories that she had lost, including what Glitchtrap had done to her, to which point she realizes she needs to warn the other animatronics about him, but gets stabbed and pulled through a portal by Glitchtrap before she can do so. It is then that she wakes up in the domain of the Observer (one of the overarching antagonists of the series) who then proceeds to offer her the option to reset the world to how it was before with only her in it, to which she rejects it and says that change can be a good thing if you just let it happen, to which point the Observer tries to force the world to be rebooted, but it's Chica's determination to not let that happen that leads the Observer to having a change of heart, and winds up killing Glitchtrap and reviving all the animatronics, and allows them to live the rest of their lives in peace.
