Class Specialist 95 (also known as the students of the Azure's Paradise Academy) are the main protagonists of Danganronpa 4K.

- Minato - Known as the Ultimate Exorcist. He’s an insecure boy who allows himself to seal his real identity away. He is determined to retain his childhood friendship with Nya and Kazuya.
- Nya Kyuma - Known as the Ultimate Teacher. She’s a lighthearted young girl who is a childhood sweetheart of Minato, often warms up her peers to keep her talent.
- Kazuya Suzuka - Known as the Ultimate Racer. He is carefree and is aware of his trustworthiness by himself however he can and oftenly gets annoyed by Fuyuki and Yukio’s jokes.
- Toru Satsuki - Known as the ???. He is considered talentless out of the Class Specialist 95, but is insecure about himself and often being admired by Hitomi repeatedly.
- Yukio Katsushima - Known as the Ultimate Inventor. He’s a sarcastic yet passionate inventor who has too much distrust and often gets fierce competition with anyone; as well as annoying Kazuya and Yoriha to prove his interest in science. He’s also responsible for creating the late Kokichi Oma’s algorithm to suppress his true identity secretly in order to escape the killing game and save everyone’s town in the outside world.
- Ana Sumeragi - Known as the Ultimate Train Conductor. She is the owner of the Sumeragi Heavenly Express, tends to possess an aloof demeanor and have a strong loathe towards goofballs but seem to not care about it, as well she has a crush on Mei Masato.
- Shion Tsujihara - Known as the Ultimate Firefighter. He’s a calm firefighter who is the childhood friend of Fuyuki and has the proud work that he has done interviewing people.
- Fuyuki Inada - Known as the Ultimate Animator. He’s a friendly optimist who is the childhood friend of Shion, who has a deep interest in animations and entertainment. He is also often seen hanging out with Shion or Yukio.
- Mei Masato - Known as the Ultimate Gardener. She is a sheepish young girl who doesn’t have any friends due to her past life thus always apologizes a lot when it comes to danger, although her white lily motif helps her discipline her feelings. Following her heartbreak over Nya’s death alongside Minato, she took her role as the support for the rest of the killing game.
- Masahiro Hiramatsu - Known as the Ultimate (unknown), and codenamed Captain Gorgan. He is a boisterous gentle giant who supports Michiko whatever he can, oftenly calls his classmates pun names due to his comedic nature.
- Yoriha Nakahara - Known as the Ultimate Sukeban. She is a serious and stoic woman who enjoys living a peaceful life as a sukeban and often rambling her objects in her blunt work with her sparrows.
- Hitomi Sora - Known as the Ultimate Archer. She’s a proud kyudo practitioner who despises the people who were troubled with her orders physically and mentally, oftenly cares about her best friend Toru.
- Checho Nichibo - Known as the Ultimate Snowboarder. He’s a cocky narcissist who is highly fluent in Spanish, often swearing and threatens others with death when enraged to reserve his suicidal demeanor.
- Natsuri Yato - Known as the Ultimate Ballerina. She is a sweet and laid-back nurturer who treats people (especially short people and/or children) due to mature appearance.
- Michiko Shoji - Known as the Ultimate Shrine Maiden. She is a sophisticated woman who is the head of the shrine district and supports an elegant and cool demeanor, as well as acts as the “big sis” to encourage Checho’s mood much to his dismay.
- Ren Fuenokaze - Known as the Ultimate (unknown). They're the mastermind of the killing game who was responsible for infiltrated the Undisclosed Subject in order launch their plan of throwing the school into despair.
