Courage is one of the two titular main protagonists of the DEATH BATTLE! episode, "Scooby-Doo VS Courage the Cowardly Dog".

He is a cowardly beagle who is scared of just about anything but who is always willing to risk his life, and face danger for the people he loves. He is Scooby-Doo's former arch nemesis/rival.

He is voiced by Edward Bosco, who also voiced Spyro, Darkseid, and Magneto.

Appearance

Courage is a tiny pink beagle with long, narrow black ears. His limbs are small in relation to his overall size, and his snout is a black triangle. Regardless of his posture, Courage's middle toe always seems to point straight forward, giving the impression that he is tiptoeing. There is a round-holed tooth among his many enormous, human-like teeth. He has three black dots on his front.

Personality

Courage is shown to be a very anxious individual, as shown by how he was nervously wandering around the haunted mansion. He is also very cowardly as he tripped Scooby-Doo to force Scooby to deal with the monster while he made his escape. At the end of the day though, he would do anything for his loved ones since he was looking for Muriel in the haunted mansion in the first place.
