Starlight, now known as Deathstar is one of the 2 main protagonists (Alongside Raxatholix) of Flowers in Antarctica.
She is a Mimic, being the daughter of the former god of balance, space, and stars, Azimondiaz, as well as the current goddess of life and the counselor of Fáņa Academy.
History[]
Creation[]
Long ago, in the year 1568 AD, Azimondiaz began tinkering with the creation of life, creating Starlight, and began raising her as his child. She was raised strictly, but peacefully at the same time, being given what she needed. But during her later years, her father began to switch tones, going from caring to abusive, constantly berating her, forcing her to do his work, and was often scolding her. She would try to run away from home, and even fighting back against her father. But due to Azimondiaz's manipulating skills, she fell deeply into his trap.
Arrival on Earth[]
At the height of Azimondiaz’ descent, he decided to throw Starlight away, throwing her off into the universe containing Humans, Elves, Dwarves, and Orcs, otherwise known as Proxius, she drifted at such a speed that she arrived near Earth in mere seconds, which she would then stop when Moonlight, the goddess of the moon, froze her in space, where she’d read her mind, and see the abuse from Azimondiaz, and without a second of thought, sent her safely towards Earth, where she arrived in a small town, and the citizens thought it was a gift from Heaven itself, where they’d treat her as a royal, even getting her to meet the leader of the town.
Cursed to be Deathstar[]
During an unknown year in the late 1500s, Starlight was wandering through her home town, until a man fell head over heels for her, proposing to her almost immediately, but Starlight refused his offer, which enraged the man, causing him to use forbidden magic and curse her, leading to her transformation into Deathstar, which cause her immense pain and suffering, seeing this, the citizens were appalled, so as a result, they banished her out of the town, exiling her into the woods.
Joining the Academy[]
After she had been exiled from the town, she wandered through the woods for a few days, until stumbling upon a strange fox, this fox guided her to the Sacred Fáņa Religious Academy, where it then transformed into it’s actual form, a human witch, who introduced herself as Vadhyra, and invited Deathstar to join the academy, in which she accepted,
Rising in the Ranks[]
After she had joined, she displayed exceptionally good understanding of magic, this surprising the teachers, who spoke to the headmaster about this, the headmaster congratulating Deathstar on this, who would then offer her a higher rank, which she would accept as well, becoming the Counselor of Vadhyra Academy.
Meeting Raxatholix[]
In 1597, she would meet Raxatholix, who was the God of death, pestilence, plagues, rats, crows, and ravens, and the two would become friends almost instantly, where she’d lead him to a camp with some of her friends. After this, and they’d both fall in love.
Adopting Alice[]
After the two fell in love, Deathstar decided to adopt Alice, who would then be taught magic by Deathstar, but Alice really didn’t care about these lessons, and would mostly use it for dumb ideas.
Ascension[]
One day, Raxatholix approached Deathstar with an idea, which was to let her ascend and become the next goddess of life, purification, healing, and change. Which she’d accept, so Raxatholix would get the approval of the other 17 gods, where’d they begin the ascension ritual, where she would then truly ascend, assuming the title of “Vadhyraddha”, and becoming the 19th member of the Gods’ Council.
Present[]
Currently, Deathstar has married Raxatholix, and has also changed her look, and adapting a new outfit.
