Desti is a major character in the Australian adult animated web series SMG4, as well as the posthumous overarching protagonist of the 2020 animated film SMG4 Movie: Meggy's Destiny and one of the two posthumous overarching protagonists (alongside Aloysius Bori) of the show’s spinoff Sunset Paradise.
She was the main antagonist in If Mario Was In... Splatoon 2 and one of the two main antagonists (alongside Princess Peach) of Part 1 of The Anime Arc. After that she redeemed herself by becoming a major protagonist in Part 2 of The Anime Arc. She was helping the SMG4 Gang to rescue Meggy from Francis. Unfortunately in the final battle, she got killed by False Sephiroth. He used his masamune to stab her. This made Desti the first major character to die without being revived in the series.
She was still mentioned and was shown in flashbacks and photos in videos following her death until SMG4 Movie: Meggy's Destiny, where she showed up as a spirit and she also appeared as a bartender in SMG4 Movie: WESTERN SPAGHETTI. After that, Desti did not make any further appearances since.
Personality
Often at times, Desti was an arrogant, competitive, and vain octoling who was a cruel and sadistic bully. However, despite her negative personality, she was also very good-hearted, and was remorseful and became friends with Meggy.
Appearance
Desti had purplish-red tentacles, tan skin, and yellow eyes. She was dressed in a somewhat gothic style involving a shirt with Blue Hoodie, Fake Contacts and Neo Octoling Boots. She wore black shorts and fingerless gloves.
