Doctor Doktor is a minor character in the GameToons web-series Among Us Logic, serving as the deuteragonist of the Novisor Saga.
He is the father of Aiden, one of Novisor's vessels, who he proceeds to make a deal with under the promise that he'll bring Aiden back, so long as he finds him another vessel. As an "assurance" however, he mutilates him by tearing out his visor, and making him a slave for his cult.
Eventually though, he's convinced by Player to stop working for Novisor, and helps take him and the rest of his cult down.
He is voiced by Ryan Stewart, who also voices many other characters in GameToons.
Biography[]
Past[]
Dr. Doktor was the father of a young college student named Aiden. A few weeks after Aiden's disappearance, he goes looking for him, and finds a laptop in his apartment with a cursed build of the game Among Us on it. He plays the game in search for Aiden, only to find an entity, known as Novisor. While he's terrified at the site, it doesn't stop him from wanting to bring Aiden back. He makes a deal with the entity, with the promise that if he finds him a new vessel, he'll bring back Aiden. As an "assurance" though, he tears his visor out, and makes him a slave for his cult.
Among Us Logic[]
The Curse of Novisor[]
Dr. Doktor first introduces himself to Ninja in the latter's dojo after a call between him and Player breaks up. He proceeds to tell him the true tale of Novisor, revealing to him that instead of being some haunted piece of coding, he is actually an ancient, malevolent demon wreaking havoc and looking for ways to claim new victims, with Player being the next in line to be possessed.
He and Ninja then arrive at the airship and save Player and Captain. He explains to Player that he is in grave danger, and so, they must keep him safe. He also informs him that he is the only one capable of ending Novisor for good. Just then, the ghosts of Novisor's victims appear, and he alongside the others make a run for it. Dr. Doktor starts to pilot the Airship into a portal leading to Novisor's realm. Player tries to get him to stop heading towards the portal, but he doesn't, and takes off his mask, revealing nothing, before they crash.
Novisor: The Final Chapter[]
Once they arrive at Novisor's dimension, Player calls Dr. Doktor out for serving Novisor, who then tells him that he isn't serving him, and that Aiden (the saga's overarching protagonist) is his son, whom he's trying to bring back. He tells him about his story with Novisor, and how he was turned into a slave by him as "assurances" after agreeing to a deal with the demon, despite merely wanting his son back. Player sympathizes with him and tries to convince him to stop working for Novisor by telling him that taking the easy way out (in this case, by working with Novisor, who had taken Aiden away to begin with) will get him nowhere. But before he can say anything, Duncan and the rest of Novisor's cultists appear out of a portal and restrain Player and his friends.
Novisor is then summoned out of the ground by Duncan, and the demon orders Dr. Doktor to sacrifice Player. Dr. Doktor instead turns against Novisor, and starts killing off Duncan and the other cultists alongside Captain and Ninja. Dr. Doktor tries to go up against Novisor himself, claiming it's what Aiden would have wanted, but he's overpowered and sent flying into a rock, gravely injuring him. While Dr. Doktor is down, Player and Novisor have one final battle. Novisor knocks Player down though, and prepares to kill him himself, until Dr. Doktor gets back up and slices off Novisor's arm, giving Player enough time to slice him in half and kill him. Saving the world and setting the souls of his victims free.
