Biography[]
Background[]
Eric was an animatronic designer who was hired by Fazbear and Jolly Entertainment, with his first major action being to create the Classic Jolly and Classic George animatronics. While these were successful, Eric did so without authorization and was thus fired. He went on to create another animatronic called Antonette, which was similar to the Fazbear animatronic the Marionette. This project was successful enough for Eric to be rehired. Eric continued working for the company and acted as a security guard for one of its locations, where he witnessed William Afton murder multiple children using the Spring Bonnie suit. Eventually on bring your daughter to work day, Eric brought his daughter Zoey to the restaurant where she was kidnapped by William. Eric demanded that William stop, but he refused, and killed Zoey despite Eric knowing about it. Eric immediately reported this to the police, leading to William attempting to cover up the murders by stuffing the children's bodies into the animatronic suits, and while he fell under heavy suspicion, the bodies not being found led to Eric's claims not being proved and William was not charged. Eric's wife Audrey was infuriated with Eric over what happened to Zoey, and filed for divorce soon after. Eric heard rumors that because of how bad the animatronics smelled, the children's bodies were inside them, and furthermore he heard rumors that they were possessed. This led to Eric becoming determined to find his daughters lost soul and body, if she was inside one of the animatronics.
Jolly 2[]
Eric takes the false identity of "Liam" in order to be rehired by Fazbear Entertainment, at which point he is stationed on an AJMF rental ship which is transporting Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, Classic Jolly, and Classic George. William recognizes that he is Eric, but decides to still rehire him and has the Classic Jolly and Classic George animatronics intentionally be hostile in order to dispose of Eric. However, the other four come to life as well, being possessed by the spirits of the dead children and wanting to kill Eric for having witnessed their murders and doing nothing until Zoey was killed. After multiple nights, the cargo ship finally returns to Eric's home town, where he goes home to his wife. They argue about the divorce, leading to Eric storming out. She follows him onto the ship and finds all of his work inside his office, including the Antonette. She trashes everything in a rage due to her grief, but when she tries to trash the Antonette it ends up activating and accidentally electrocuting her to death. When the employees discover this, Eric flees, fearing he will be blamed for Toni's death since he built the Antonette. He ends up trying to hide inside the Classic Jolly animatronic while it was in costume mode, but it fails and springlocks him, killing him and causing him to possess the animatronic.

Trivia[]
- He is the only player character in the JOLLY series who is confirmed to have died.
- This is extremely unconventional by the standards of Five Nights at Freddy's fangames, as player characters almost always survive past the last night and if they do die it takes place at the end of the game rather than off-screen between them.
- If you consider JOLLY 3 to be one game despite being split into two, Eric is technically the only player character to appear in more than one game.
