Hana Uzumaki is the protagonist of the brazilian Naruto fanfic Você É Como Eu, Eu Sou Como Você (You're Like Me, I'm Like You) [working title]). She is Naruto Uzumaki's step-sister and Gaara's romantic interest.
Appearance[]
Pale skin, pink eyes, white hair (initially red). Her skin is so pale that even a slight squeeze leaves a mark, as happened when Gaara grabbed her neck in the Chuunin exam and turned purple.
Personality[]
Loving, kind, innocent, passionate and protective. She admires Naruto a lot because they are the only ones who understand each other. Has a crush on Sabaku no Gaara.
Background[]
Son of the leader of the former Uzumaki clan, from the Whirlpool Village/Uzushiogakure, he hid in Satōgakure after the destruction of the Uzumaki clan, becoming the only ninja in the village and teaching others to be ninjas. After a few years, Saotome Yui appeared in the village, incredibly injured. Akihiko treated Yui's wounds and the two fell in love. Later, Hana was born. She lived happily in the village with her parents, until one day, her mother discovered that her clan was after her and had tracked her down. The Saotome clan was a clan of criminals, known for leaving entire villages devastated and no survivors. This was due to the fact that they had a secret jutsu, which converted emotions into monsters, known as Kibinonarus, who strictly followed the orders of their creators, only ceasing to exist if their creators destroyed them. Yui was the daughter of the clan head, but she didn't like doing these atrocities, so she ran away with the knowledge of the jutsu.
Afraid that something would happen to Hana, her parents used the Kibinonaru Jutsu, and created a monster out of their love for her. Together with her father's sealing jutsu, they sealed the monster in her while she slept, with their only order being to obey and protect Hana. That same day, they were murdered. Hana saw her parents' bodies, and this trauma made her red hair start to turn white.
Because she was alone, she was sent to Konoha, to live with another Uzumaki, Naruto. Initially, she was very reserved around him, even though he was very kind and excited to her. It took a while for her to open up to him, but they soon became like siblings. Even so, both she and Naruto were discriminated against.
She participated in the Chuunin Exam and it was there that she met Gaara, and he soon caught her attention. Initially, because he had the saddest eyes she had ever seen. Later, because she recognized his pain, as she had the same pain within herself. She ended up keeping in touch after the Chuunin exams.
It was also during the Chuunin exams that she found out about her Kibinonaru, who attacked a team of ninjas who tried to hurt her, scaring her. Later, she finds out who she is and calls her Miyo.
In Shippuden, she had gone to train with Jiraya alongside Naruto, but most of her training was done by Takeyama Takeo, an elderly man who had been a teammate of her paternal grandfather and Akihiko's sensei.
The Takeyama clan was also from the Whirlpool Village/Uzushiogakure, and had sworn loyalty to the Uzumaki clan. The clan members studied Fuinjutsu to train the Uzumaki children, and their children trained with their students, to later train the children of their teammates and start the cycle over again. Takeo had lost his son, so he dedicated himself to training Hana in Fuinjutsu and chakra control.
When Gaara was kidnapped by the Akatsuki, she was one of the first to attack Deidara to get him back. When Chiyo tried to bring Gaara back, she donated her chakra to help.
During the 4th Ninja War, she was hidden with Naruto and Killer Bee, but escaped with them to help in the war, using her Adamantine Chains, medical jutsus, and Miyo to help her comrades.
After the war ended, Gaara and she officially started dating, and Naruto almost used a Rasengan on Gaara out of jealousy.
Two years later, Gaara and she got married.

- She inherited her tendency to have white hair from her father, who had his red hair turned white due to the stress of his father's training to be the clan head.

- Hana has a habit of kissing the cheeks of people she is close to.

- Hana is a vegetarian because her parents were, but she eventually started to like meat. And her parents were vegetarian because her mother could not see meat without remembering the tortures her clan did, so Akihiko stopped eating meat so as not to make her uncomfortable.
- Gaara was the one who asked her out, but it was Hana who gave him the first kiss.
- She calls Naruto Narutonii-san.
- Like Naruto, she has a line that she usually says when she is excited, which is "Dattebare".
