The Hoodrats are the titular main protagonistic faction of the webcomic HoodRats! They're a group of superpowered heroes and the archenemies of Oscurita.
Overview[]
The group is composed by four superheroes, each with a different ability.
While the Hoodrats seem to lack a real leader among them, Melody proclaimed herself as the group's leader.
Biography[]
The Hoodrats were first formed after Kermit fought Skid, Melody and Mystique, with the four becoming all friends with each other.
At some point, the Hoodrats started fighting Oscurita, continuously foiling her plans.
Currently the Hoodrats are fighting Skyblack.

Trivia[]
- In Heroes! it's made clear that the Hoodrats aren't seen well by the public, being seen as vigilantes or troublemakers rather than heroes. However, since the chapter is no longer canon, it's unknown if this is still the case.
- VS LabRats! (Part 3) however shows that Marbles doesn't have a high opinion of them, despite being a hero herself.
- While the comic's title spells their name with the capital R, in the comic itself it's spelled with the lowercase r.
- Like the other characters in the webcomic, they have no canon color palette, except for their flat colors, ethnicity and Melody's facepaint.[1]
- If they were to speak, like the other characters in the comic, their voices wouldn't be anything comprehensible but something like Banjo and Kazooie.[2]
