Hydro Undergrove (ハイドロアンダーグローブ Haidoro Andāgurōbu) is the titular main protagonist of the movie. He is a 13 year old kid who lives a daily basis of his life. He is a kid who appeared in HydroDoesWhackyStuff's Wattpad Series, apparently he was human before without powers. He got warped to an another world and gained powers from his journeys.

He is also a Human Wields the power of the Saiyan, Hamon (Ripple), Renegade, Ninpo, Angel, Demon, Quincy, Black Arms, Krang, Youkai, and Shaman: because this is the effect of his Amulet. Hydro primarily works as a paranormal investigator and mercenary that hunts down creatures and purge the world from evil, seeking vengeance to avenge his late mother in another universe. He is the strongest and the primary person of the Renegades, a generation of heroes whom he inspired with his unyielding heroism and continues to be their source of strength to this day. He is also a visitor to the alternate universe Earth-XXXL8.

He was voiced by Roger Craig Smith known for Kale Vandelay from Hi-Fi Rush, and Sonic the Hedgehog from the Sonic the Hedgehog series.

Appearance[]

Hydro is a 13-year-old Filipino kid with a lanky build and fair light skin. He has short red hair. He has black eyes and wears large, thin black cyber glasses and a closed white hooded jacket with a dark gray scarf. Additionally, he wears a golden Nike watch with a red cloth band on his left hand and matching plain black pants. To complete his look, his shoes are gray and white with some lights underneath. For an upgrade, Hydro wears his 2077-made cyberpunk jacket. He also wears dark gray pants, with cybernetic knee pads attached to him. He also wears Elite Arm Gear on his right arm, Elite Belt Gear on his waist, and an Antidote Belt mostly on the right side of his belt. He wears a Mystic Gear and Gravity Band on his left arm. And the part of Bloxy Cola placed on the right side of Hydro's leg has a special effect. Cyberglass was used by the one and only Knuckles the Echidna. He also has a bounce bracelet, and the three spikes attached to it are used from Magic Gloves. As for the power shoes, there are some neon lights on the shoes over its black color. Hydro also wears the ultimate hybrid amulet, an amulet or necklace worn by those of worth.

Currently, Cybernetic Knee Pad is 2x, Elite Arm Gear is 4x, Elite Belt Gear is 4x, Mystic Gear is 4x, Gravity Band is 4x, Bloxy Colas is 4x, Magic Bracelet is 4x, Sunglasses is 4x, Soap Shoes is 4x, and The Amulet of the Ultimate Hybrid is 12x, and a total of 12x Bonus for Hydro.

Personality[]

Hydro is imaginative, friendly and enjoys creating gaming content for his YouTube channel. He is socially clumsy, but friendly and sociable, yet initially cocky, childish and arrogant like Ben Tennyson, Hydro's immaturity and attention-seeking behavior often led him to joke around, regardless of the situation, Iann Thatcher is also an attention seeker, but not as the same as Hydro. His allies often criticized his attitude, unaware of the fact that he used humor to mask his fears. Despite some childish attitude, he was heroic, caring and generally good-natured, always willing to save others at any time.. He has darker tones of his personality, not edgy. Hydro can be sometimes the most menacing and ruthless child, Hydro's ruthlessness and aggression ensure that his enemies never take him lightly. In addition to his dark and violent demeanor, Shadow can also be self-righteous and stubborn. He is usually very cold towards others, throwing out his opinions no matter how cold they are, and not caring what their reaction is.

Hydro is also a calm and light-hearted child, Hydro is best described as having a "strong sense of justice", and this personality trait motivates him to go back to Earth-XXXL8. He believes in standing up for those who cannot stand up for themselves. Although he appears serious on the surface, according to interviews, Hydro is young and somewhat immature. Hazel, Kate, and Maria comment on this several times, explaining that he becomes insecure when he is naive and alone. Hydro is naive and doesn't know how to have a more informal conversation with other people.

Therefore, he is always ready to protect and help those in need. He always maintains a positive attitude and never gives up his hope, no matter how hopeless the situation may look objectively. When he pursues his opponents, he does so with relentless determination.

Hydro has an egotistical side, having saved the world many times, so he holds himself in high esteem and sees heroic deeds as an opportunity to train and have fun, and is cocky, quick-witted, and cocky. He also has an arrogant personality. He becomes overconfident again and again. Hydro is laid back and confident, even under pressure, especially in battle. He often mocks his opponents with insults and puns and jokes, which usually end up angering his opponents enough to be a distraction. He is quite charismatic and easily gets along with others and makes new friends. He has also been shown to have the ability to forgive and befriend those he previously distrusted.

Hydro is incredibly flirtatious and casually talks to even the most powerful foes. And he usually enjoys flaunting and taunting his enemies as often as he can. Hydro is also both scared and fearless and almost ready for incredibly dangerous situations, such as being attacked by the outer Seven Hells, being swallowed by Echidna, and effortlessly parrying multiple headshots, impalements and other wounds. Shows an indifferent attitude, although the latter happens quite often for Devil Hunters.

However, being still human, they are prone to self-centered or selfish behavior. He is very content with the status quo of his life and does not show much motivation to improve himself unless necessary, but he has the same kind of attitude that his friends have. They do not appear to be plagued by neuroses or problems. Plus, he has a strange form of charisma. Despite his friends complaining and having issues about his shortcomings, he enjoys spending time with them and being his friend, including even the stoic Electroman and the brooding Hyper.

Though not particularly intelligent and rather self-centered, this makes him adaptable to many unfortunate situations. Despite his lack of track record/achievements, Hydro initially pretends to be the center of attention out of fear of rejection and an inferiority complex, but through his new friends, he eventually becomes selfish. Break away from isms and develop amazing empathy and emotional maturity.

Due to the music player from his K-391 Headphones, almost everything in Hydro's perspective of the world is synchronized to a musical beat. Though this makes him a terrifyingly competent fighter, it occasionally makes him zone out, interacting with the world as if it's a stage he is performing to.

Powers & Abilities[]

  • Master Hand to Hand Combatant - Hydro Is an incredibly formidable and fierce opponent as he uses his greater strength and durability to his advantage in fights as shown when he punched a guy's stomach apparently in pain with a single punch.
  • Superhuman Durability - Hydro is extremely hard to kill, able to withstand injuries such as stab wounds, bullet wounds, fire (to an extent), and almost anything else including weapons used by other supernatural killers such as Tek Claws
  • Superhuman Strength - Hydro also has super strength, as he can lift people up above the ground, lifting several heavy obstacles like walls, or smash through walls.
  • Regeneration - Hydro has survived various injuries that would disable his enemies and continue his killing sprees with full activity. Though Fire and Decapitation cannot work on Hydro. Although, it seems that nothing can truly kill Hydro forever thanks to his regenerative properties and resurrection.
  • Stealth Tactics - Hydro's tranqualizing style mostly relies on stealth to get to his enemies without anyone realizing that he is there. Most notably shown when he can either put enemies to sleep as many enemies in one area without anyone hearing him, while bringing the bodies everywhere without making a sound.
  • Air Juggle - Hydro used this kind of move executed mid-air by Hydro where he continously hits the opponent 64 times with a punch barrage then finishes by punching him to the ground, inspiring Scott Pilgrim.
  • Reversal - is a counter move in which Hydro blocks the opponent's attack and then punches them with enough force to send Mecha Hydro from their first battle to the air. He uses it to counter Mecha Hydro as well coming at full speed from the roof towards him.
  • "He punched her in the boob!" - Hydro is not even comfortable at nudity, but apparently punches every boob to a girl opponent. That was his final blow by emmiting an aura and to have a smaller impact, clearly using his right hands to punch a woman in the boob with his force. This was used in the first encounter of Irish, making her pissed and hating Hydro.
  • Slap - One of Hydro's dumbest moves, but clearly useful to piss an enemy off to start a fight.

  • Devil Sword Hydro - A keepsake from his own will of getting stabbed by himself. It is forged by darkness and light and capable of cutting through dimensions. It serves as the source of his powers.
  • Razor & Ivor - One of Hydro's dual trademark pistols.
  • P.O.S.T.A.L - One of Hydro's most extremely lethal weapon, that can obliterate most of the things.
  • Scattercrits - Hydro's small boomstick that can manage to fire bigger explosions with deadly effects.

  • Resurrection - If Hydro is defeated, he can always resurrect. When he resurrects, he becomes more powerful. This power is somewhat similar to a Zenkai Boost (from Dragon Ball Z). Although, if he dies, he will apparently have his Pixel Logo on the side of his head, able to touch or getting it for another life to feel like a videogame.
  • Immortality - Hydro can seemingly never die permanently for no matter what happens if he is a demon, he just keeps getting back up. Although, being condemned to hell seems to be able to trap Jason, at least for a time.
  • Supernatural Strength - Upon being resurrected, Hydro's strength has increased to the point he can erase someone's body out with his bare hands, fling a full-grown man by the arm with enough force to tear the limb from its socket while the body is sent flying or hit the hardest from a human head off with a single punch, causing for them to faint instantly.
  • Regenerative Durability - Upon being resurrected, Hydro can endure far more damage and heal from whatever injury he receives, such as getting impaled by his own machete or being stabbed through the chest.
  • Bullet Immunity - Hydro is completely immune to bullets; he was brought down by a shotgun but still kept getting up.
  • Acrobat - Hydro possesses astounding kineticism and precision, and has the reaction time to match his speed. He has profound acrobatic skills and agility, along with incredible reflexes that lets him avoid any incoming obstacles with precise and delicate movements. hydro can even detect attacks beyond his field of vision due to his sharp reflexes. When launched into the air, he can also pull off several tricks before landing. He also has incredible jumping skills, capable of jumping up to several hundred meters, even with extra weight.
  • Demonic power manipulation - Hydro is able to imbue demonic power from the Amulet into objects to augment them. He mostly uses his demonic power to create weapons that can be used for various purposes. Hydro is able to create a doppelganger of himself to aid him in the battle against his opponent.
  • Teleportation - Hydro has advanced teleportation abilities that he uses to strategically reposition himself around the battlefield. He is noted to be more skilled with teleportation than others, as he uses it far more frequently and sometimes with the aid of Black Dragon.
  • Force Field Generation - Hydro can project a purple, spherical shield, made of demonic energy, around his body. Although it only seems to last for a few seconds, the shield is strong enough to protect him from every manner of attack. The shield can also generate a repulsion field that prevents enemies from getting close. Hydro can control this repulsion field, disabling it when conjuring a set of Spiral Swords, which will harm nearby enemies

  • Due to Hydro using the Amulet, he receives Nanokinetic Powers:

    • Intangibility - Hydro could instinctively use the nanobots comprising his system to alter his atomic density. Phasing through a door at one time on a whim.
    • Nanite Constructs - An afflicted host whom his nanite had assimilated vomited up and reformed Nanoants into a weapon at one point.
    • Space Survivability - Due to being a cyborg, Hydro was able to thrive in the vacuum of space.
    • Reactive Adaption - Hydro, through his cybernetic components, can adjust his molecular biology to adapt to whatever threats they face.
    • Energy Absorption - Through the nanite technology, Hydro can absorb and rechannel most forms of energy directed at him into fuel for his fire. Be it kinetic, thermal, radiological, electrical or otherwise; but it's a skill he rarely implements as the Nanoant's have a set limit on how much energy he can absorb before they become overburdened, leaving him immobilized and vulnerable for a time until the micro-tech can adapt.
    • Energy Projection - Hydro can harness, concentrate and discharge ambient electrostatic energy as free floating plasma orbs over long distances as a means of attack.
    • Cyberpathy - Even whilst confined by a host of mechanical restraints, Hydro could flex his unison with the Nanoants in order to assume control over any/all automated appliances in order to slave them to his command.
    • Adaptive Attribute Enhancement - Hydro's Nanoant's enable enhanced adjustment of the revenant's core metabolism in order to accomplish whatever he needs to do on the spur of the moment. Modifying his every attribute about himself in the upgrading process towards the specific goal Hydro's wishes to reach.
      • Adaptive Intelligence - While normally of minimal psychological aptitude, Hydro's nanite enhanced frame beefed up his IQ to teach him how to drive a car.
      • Technological Senses - The micro robotics in his system give him scanning and homing abilities which allow for the easier tracking of prey.
    • Nigh-Invulnerability - For all intents and purposes, the biomechanically augmented Hydro was all but impervious to most forms of harm.
    • Ultimate Cyborg Expertise - After becoming a cyborg, Hydro possessed incredible superhuman strength, speed, and endurance. His strength enabled him to lift a tremendous amount of weight, evidently ranging to several thousand tons. Prime examples include swinging Metal Gear RAYS around in a circle by his legs, and momentarily stopping Outer Haven, an Arsenal Gear class submarine with his body. His body had similar abilities to Raiden (a.k.a Jack the Ripper), as his feet could be used as hands, allowing him to grip and grab hold of objects and edges in a similar manner to an ape or bat. He could stretch out his legs as if they were arms to in this fashion as well, all without any strain or discomfort of any kind. This allowed him to operate at high efficiency even when he lost both his arms at the shoulders. He also could grip, hold, and even throw objects with inhuman ease and precision in his mouth.
    • Crimson Eye - His orginal right eye was lost after the explosion in 2033, but was added an Artificial Right Eye by Doktor, occasionally turned crimson when being deployed or when about to undergo a deadly maneuver, a side effect of his eye being modified with an optical implant. He did possess optical implants to a slightly lesser degree prior to the upgrade, which displayed things in a HUD.
    • Cyberkinetic Speed - Hydro's superhuman speed enabled him to run extremely fast for great distances. He can run at speeds faster than sound, and can swing his sword faster than the human eye can see. Hydro has demonstrated complete mastery of his speed in any environment and can use it for both high-speed offense and defense. Not only can he run at maximum tilt in straight lines, but also in full tight circles and through sharp turns with full control over his momentum. As far as stamina goes, Hydro is seemingly limitless as he is never winded from running. His speed also allows him to perform several impressive feats; he can heal at rapid speeds, launch shockwaves by spinning rapidly, leap in midair, launch stunning waves with fast kicks, increase the force of his blows by striking with increased momentum, and create barriers of super speed. He can also spin in circles or rotate his extremities at super speed to create winds strong enough to attack or blow away opponents, similar to aerokinesis.

  • Overall Abilities: Due to his paternal heritage form being all of Human's ultime species Hybrid, Hydro has similar powers to everyone, which has made him a threat to all the enemies caught in his path. Despite his heritage, it has been believed that his immense supernatural powers doesn't come solely from his paternal heritage, but also because he possesses all the heroes' virtues, such as love and mercy, and protecting others. It may mean the creatures can reach their full potential by having the ability to protect and care for another, but this may only be for Hydro, due to himbeing part human as well as part demon. As such, Hydro has achieve numerous feats that have surpassed even his father, who was regarded as a god-like figure.
    • Gravitational Manipulation - Ultimately, everything is built upon the existence of boundaries; if there were no boundaries everything would effectively exist as a single enormous object. Because of this, the ability to manipulate boundaries is logically an ability of both creation and destruction. It's Gravity was controlled by Hydro's Gravity Band, which makes the world to form back into it's original base.
      • Hybridal Power Manipulation: Hydro can channel his hybrid energies into objects, such as his guns or even the air itself.
      • Telekinesis: He has displayed some level of telekinetic abilities as the bike Trish threw instantly stopped in front of him and was levitating in front of him.
    • Supernatural Condition: Through virtue of his parental hybridal lineage, Hydro has supernatural physical abilities
    • Supreme Combatant: The hybridal human has also used a number of demon-fighting styles. These include the Swordmaster Style, emphasizing mastery of Devil-Arms and their elemental powers, Trickster, which focuses on quick dodging and maneuvers, Gunslinger, which emphasizes mastery of firearms and their techniques, Royalguard, which focuses on blocking and countering enemy attacks, Doppelganger, which creates a dark clone of Dante that aids him in battle, and Quicksilver, which slows down time around Hydro while allowing him to move at ultra-fast speeds. Hydro has proven capable with a large variety of weapons.
    • Gaps - When Yukari teached Hydro how to make gaps, this happened. The ability to use gaps is the most prominent ability that Hydro utilizes. They act as portals between two places, where she's able to hold, sit on or emerge from such gaps. Because of this, she's able to show up at any place and can freely travel to places like the Pocket Dimension, Gensokyo. Moreover, while the main use of gaps is traveling to different places, Hydro also uses them in battle either by virtue of being able to use almost any object (such as tombstones, road signs, and even running trains) as a weapon, by retreating inside them to avoid being hit or land unexpected attacks, sucking in an opponent's attacks to throw them back.
    • Godslap - Not really a virtual Slap Battles thing, Hydro can mysteryiously slap someone with a godly strength, leading them to send to 150 Miles from the direction.
    • Hyper-go-on - When Sonic can use the Hyper-go-on force, it it said when Hydro got it by harnessing different variants of Hyper-go-on from Wisps, Hydro can use specific Color Powers to transform into a certain form, such as a drill, a laser or even a fireball, each one possessing its own unique abilities. So far, Sonic has been able to transform into the Cyan Laser, Yellow Drill, Blue Cube, Green Hover, Pink Spikes, Purple Frenzy, Violet Void, Orange Rocket, Red Burst, Indigo Asteroid, Magenta Rhythm, Crimson Eagle, Ivory Lightning, Gray Quake, Black Bomb, and Jade Ghost. However, these transformations require a steady supply of Hyper-go-on to be maintained.
