Integra Hellsing is the deuteragonistas of Team Four Star's YouTube series Hellsing Ultimate Abridged. Just like her original counterpart, she is the leader of the Hellsing Organization and the master of Alucard.
Despite having the same role as the original, this version of Integra is more aggressive than the original, mostly because of how she has to deal with Alucard, her disloyal minion who almost never obeys her orders.
She was voiced by Megami33.
Personality[]
This version of Integra Hellsing has a love-hate relationship with Alucard, constantly upset with him for being an arrogant and disobeying minion, and for committing plenty of crimes that only harm the Hellsing Organization's image. However, she is shown to be fully capable of being polite towards him, especially in the series finale where it's implied they became lovers.
She can also be generally aggressive and threatening, such as when she used audio of Alucard torturing someone to scare financiers into funding Hellsing, or when she threatened Walter with mounting his head on a urinal if he betrayed them. Just like most characters in the series, Integra has plenty of comedic moments. She also seems to have a hidden perverted side, to the point of Seras considering her to be "worse than Alucard."
As a Leader, she is intelligent, strategic and willing to do any sorts of things to achieve her goals.
Biography[]
Backstory[]
When Integra was only a teenager, her father, Arthur Hellsing died of poisoning. He was the owner of the Hellsing Organization and, in his last moments, gifted that ownership to Integra. She later learned that Arthur's brother, Richard was behind his death, and intended on killing her and claim ownership of Hellsing for himself. She quickly decides that her best option was a man that her father had kept in the Hellsing Organization's dungeon.
Inside the dungeon, Integra found the holding cell of a vampire, but was shot in the shoulder by Richard as she broke inside. The vampire inside the cell had seemingly died of starvation, but before Richard could finish the job, he's interrupted by the vampire waking up to lick up some of Integra's spilled blood. The vampire, revealed to be Alucard, then kills and drinks the blood of Richard's agents and tears off Richard's arm. Integra grabs Richard's gun and turns it on Alucard, telling him that since he served her father, he now serves her as well. Alucard agrees to her terms as long as he gets to take long walks at night, and then lets Integra use his arm as support to shoot down Richard.
Over the next several years, Integra continued to be the owner of the Hellsing Organization, dedicated to killing monsters around the world.
"Psych, Hitler!"[]
In her first scene, Integra is receiving a report from Alucard about how he went for a walk, killed a homicidal vampire priest, and turned a police girl named Seras Victoria into a vampire. Seras would be recruited into the organization. A week later, Alucard reports again about killing a pair of vampires, having shot one 37 times while Seras killed the other with a rifle. Integra tells Alucard that he should stop going for walks at night and then sends him into a mission to clear out a vampire-infested hospital in Ireland.
Later, Integra's butler, Walter C. Dornez warns her about another priest from the Iscariot Organization named Alexander Anderson, and she responds by immediately going to Ireland with two body guards. Upon entering the hospital, she confronts Anderson for killing her soldiers and going against their contract. Anderson responds by killing Integra's bodyguards and pinning her to the wall, mentioning that he killed Alucard by cutting off his head. Integra mocks him by saying that decapitation was only step one of ten.
Alucard reappears, having fully regenerated from his injuries, and Anderson decides to leave out of frustration. Integra suggests that there could be a huge organization behind the recent vampire attacks; Alucard suggests that it could be Nazis, which Integra finds ridiculous.
"Bullet From Your Valentine"[]
Integra receives a mission report from Alucard, who had just returned from killing zombies in Japan. She informs him that she will be having a important meeting with Hellsing's financial suppliers in order to convince them to keep funding Hellsing. She orders Alucard to stay in the basement until the meeting is over, but Alucard refuses until she bribes him with a new gun, a cannon for Seras and a 70" plasma wide-screen TV with Netflix.
When she has the meeting with the financiers, they question why most of their expenses were being used for Alucard's entertainment. She tells herself that she'd rather do anything else right now, and coincidentally, they come under attack. A pair of vampires named Luke and Jan Valentine break into the Hellsing mansion and quickly kill most of their men, turning them into ghouls afterwards. Integra phones Alucard for help, but he disobeys and focuses on watching Adventure Time instead. Frustrated, Integra calls Walter next.
Walter and Seras soon arrive and defend them from the invading vampires and ghouls. Jan manages to slip by and reach the meeting room, only to be met by Integra and the financiers holding him at gunpoint. While Jan calls it unfair, Integra replies that they don't care before shooting him up. She attempts to interrogate Jan afterwards, but he refuses to reveal any info until his body ignites due to his lethal injuries. As Jan dies, he reveals that he was sent by Nazis, but Integra, Walter and Seras either mishear him or pretend that they heard something else.
Integra later phones Alucard again while he's in the middle of torturing and eating Luke Valentine, and uses this to intimidate the financiers into continuing to fund Hellsing. After they leave Alucard later Integra who was behind the attack, continuing to insist that it was Nazis while Integra continues to deny it.
"TheCrimsonFuckr"[]
In order to replace all the soldiers killed during the Valentine brother's attack, Integra hires a French mercenary group known as Wild Geese, led by Pip Bernadotte. She explains that they will be dealing with several kinds of terrorists including magical creatures, which they find humorous until Alucard appears by phasing through a wall. Alucard questions why Integra hired French people, to which she replies that they were the only ones to show up after she was forced to post mortality rates. Walter comes and apologizes for not being able to stop Alucard, also mentioning that he tilted every painting in the hallway to Integra's frustration. She is enraged even further when she receives a meeting invitation from Enrico Maxwell, another priest from the Iscariot Organization.
Integra meets with Maxwell at an art museum, and the two feign politeness before immediately throwing insults at each other. Alucard interrupts and cracks several jokes at Maxwell's expense until he angrily calls upon Anderson. Seras intervenes before a fight can ensue, and Integra and Maxwell leave to get coffee and discuss matters.
Maxwell tells Integra about the organization behind the recent vampire attacks, which goes by the name Millenium. He also offers to give her their location as long as she apologizes for Alucard's crime of sending over 200 death threats to the Pope by carrier pigeon. Integra begrudgingly apologizes on Alucard's behalf and receives the information that they're localized in Brazil. Knowing that Alucard would never obey Integra's orders, Walter lies to Alucard that he can go on vacation anywhere he wants except for Brazil. He falls for it and goes to Rio de Janeiro with Pip and Seras in tow.
Integra later learns that the hotel Alucard was located was being raided by the police after shots were fired from inside the building. She angrily calls Alucard and demands an explanation, and tells him to give the phone to Seras after he explains that he killed most of the raiding police. She commands Seras to not let Alucard leave his room, only for her to reply that he'd already left to go on a walk.
Integra keeps tabs on Alucard as he slaughters the police forces and encounters a vampire working for Millennium named Tubalcain Alhambra, who had bribed the police with the promise of making them immortal. A fight ensues, with a frustrated Integra commenting on Alucard's needless violence. After killing Tubalcain and absorbing his memories, Alucard learns that the Millennium is in fact run by Nazis and triumphantly posts about it on his Twitter, aggravating Integra even further.
"Trigger Warning"[]
Presumeably the day after the police raid, Integra argues with Alucard over the phone, and furiously admits that Alucard was right about Millennium's relation to Nazis before hanging up.
Later, she and the others would appear at a meeting in London to discuss Millenium, which was revealed to originally be a group of Nazi scientists obsessed with creating a vampire army back in WW2. Alucard believed he and Walter had killed them all, but Integra explains that enough survived for them to reestablish themselves as Millennium. The meeting is interrupted by the sudden appearance of Schrödinger, a cat-boy that was also a representative of Millennium. He shows them live broadcast from Millennium's leader, Ze Major, who declares war on them before being cut off by Seras shooting Schrödinger in the head. Integra tells Alucard to clean up Schrödinger's body, only to be shocked upon discovering that the body and all its traces had completely disappeared.
Some time later, Integra and Walter hold another meeting with Sir Penwood regarding an aircraft carrier that had been hijacked by Millennium. They show Integra two pictures of the carrier taken via satellite: One of the words "THE CAKE IS A LIE" written in blood on the runway, and another of a Millennium solder named Rip Van Winkle with a yellow umbrella. Penwood tells her that they had two helicopters on their way, but both Integra and Walter knew it wouldn't work as both helicopters went down seconds later. As they were about to leave, Penwood stops them and admits to requiring their aid, to which Integra responds by saying that they could have saved both time and men if they'd asked sooner. Integra and Walter discuss how they could infiltrate the carrier and ultimately decided on using the decommissioned Lockheed SR-71 Blackbird, with Alucard angrily asking if Integra ever reads his Christmas list when she voices her surprise at him knowing so much about it. Integra allowed Alucard to steal the Blackbird and use it to attack and board the carrier.
That night, Integra is among the many people that notice a blood moon rising.
"Lay Back and Think of Oblivion"[]
As Millennium's forces begin invading London, Integra requests for Sir Penwood to send a helicopter to pick up Alucard, When asked if Alucard could fly with his vampire powers, she admited to stealing the Blackbird. Penwood tells them that their communications have been down for the past two hours, so they couldn't retrieve Alucard anyways. As Integra recaps their current situation, a bunch of Millennium soldiers break into the room, with one of the round table members, Sir Reginald revealing himself to be a traitor. Integra remains unfazed by Reginald's taunting, even laughing at the fact that she somewhat understands how Alucard feels, and mocking Reginald's attempted betrayal. Walter easily kills off Reginald and the Millennium soldiers, and when Integra asks if Penwood is alright, he responds by saying that Reginald was actually his brother in law, so he was still processing that.
The communications suddenly come back on to reveal that the Nazis were attacking London. Integra decides that everyone should evacuate and offers to take Penwood with her. Penwood refuses, so Integra gives him a gun and twelve holy bullets, telling him to save one for himself before leaving. As Walter drives Integra through the burning and blood-soaked streets of London, they receive a radio broadcast from Penwood, giving words of encouragement to any remaining survivors before blowing himself up along with a Millenium platoon. Integra begins to say something respectful about Penwood, but then Walter runs over a ghoul, causing her to unintentionally call him a son of a bitch. The two encounter Millennium's captain, and Walter gets out of the car to confront him, telling Integra to get to HQ on her own. Integra commands Walter to come back to her when he's finished, and then clumsily drives away as she'd never learned how to drive.
As Integra drives to HQ, she's pursued by another Millennium platoon. One of the soldiers asks her to pull over, and when she doesn't comply they begin firing rocket launchers at her. She manages to avoid any direct hits, but ends up spinning out and crashing. One of the soldiers jumps onto the car, but Integra draws a sword and decapitates him before he can attack. She mocks the remaining soldiers for needing so many men to corner a 22 year old woman (both her age and gender confusing them), and taunts them with the first real fight they had in fifty years. Alexander Anderson also comes to Integra's aid, and expresses his amazement at her willingness to take on dozens of Nazi vampires armed literally to the teeth, also understanding Alucard's attraction towards her. He also introduces Integra to his posse of battle-ready Iscariots, as well as his own personal apprentices Yumi and Heinkel.
"Jour de Colère"[]
After killing off the Millennium soldiers attacking Integra, both she and the Iscariots questioned why Anderson went out of his way to rescue her, especially since Alucard wouldn't have done the same for Maxwell. Anderson claims that it would have gone against his values: God, virtue, and disobeying Maxwell when it suits him, the latter of which makes Integra feel awkward since it was her first time witnessing it from an outside perspective.
"Deus Ex Anderson"[]
Integra, Anderson and his Iscariots witness Maxwell going on a power trip, slaughtering any survivors while claiming to be the god of the new world. Integra mockingly suggests that the Iscariots protest Maxwell's actions, and several of the priests respond by pulling out guns at her. Seras drops down and rescues Integra, reporting that HQ is secure, everyone's dead, and she was a full fledged vampire after eating Pip. Anderson taunts Seras that Alucard won't be here to see her as a full vampire, only for the aircraft carrier Alucard was stuck on to sail into the bay.
As Alucard puts himself between the crusading Catholics and invading Nazis, Integra commands him to "go on a walk." Alucard immediately complies and releases restraint level 0, causing him to transform into his original form: Dracula. Dracula unleashes an army of undead souls he absorbed over centuries, which Integra explains that Alucard collected most of them from battlefields, calling it his "#LifeHack." She also expresses simultaneous satisfaction and disappointment at Alucard finally obeying orders, and goes to meet Dracula with Seras. Upon meeting, Dracula offers Integra to simply call him "Drac" though she declines, but their reunion is swiftly cut short by Anderson, who wanted to fight specifically Alucard. Integra and Seras stay back as Alucard and Anderson's fight, which is also cut short by Walter killing preemptively killing Anderson after he lost.
"Abridged Over Troubled Walter"[]
As a now-younger Walter confronts Alucard, Integra warns him that she'll mount his head on a urinal if he betrays them. Alucard tries to let Walter explain himself, only for him to immediately admit that he's betraying them. After Integra gives Alucard permission to fight Walter, Ze Major lands nearby in a zeppelin, suggesting that Integra and Seras board to avoid getting caught in the crossfire. As they board, they are greeted by Schrödinger, who Integra immediately shoots in the head.
Integra and Seras fight several Nazi soldiers on board the zeppelin, with Integra voicing her disgust at their flamboyant nihilism. They soon encounter the Captain, who allows Integra to pass, but points to a "Smoking Prohibited" sign when she tries to light a cigar, frustrating her as she leaves Seras to fight.
"The Party's Over"[]
Integra soon arrives at Ze Major's control room and immediately begins shooting, only for her shots to be blocked by a thick layer of tempered glass. She even uses her sword, which also breaks. Ze Major shows Integra footage of Alucard, having transformed into another previous incarnation fighting a now-even-younger Walter. As Alucard begins absorbing the souls of everyone in London who had died over the past night, Ze Major reveals the final part of his plan to Integra: Getting Alucard to absorb Schrödinger's soul. The plan is a success as absorbing Schrödinger causes Alucard to also absorb his paradoxical existence, causing him to disappear.
Integra promises Ze Major that he won't survive, to which he proclaims victory as his last meal. Seras arrives after killing the Captain, who was apparently a werewolf. Integra questions where they found a werewolf, and Ze Major responds that they found him in an attic. Integra commands Seras to open fire, and Seras uses one of the Zeppelin's own cannons to destroy both the glass shield and half of Ze Major's body. Assuming him to be dead, Integra taunts Ze Major until she realizes that not only is he still alive, but he was also apparently a cyborg. Integra questions how and why he's a cyborg, but Ze Major dodges the question with a philosophical monologue. After a few more questions from Integra, Ze Major takes out a gun and shoots her in the left eye, only for her to retaliate by shooting him in the head. As Ze Major dies while singing So Long, Farewell, Integra lets out a frustrated sigh at losing her eye and the fact that Ze Major ruined the sound of music for her. She and Seras escape the zeppelin unfazed as it blows up.
30 years later, Integra has a meeting with a group of catholic priests about how Ze Major became a cyborg, while at the same time training some rookies in swordsmanship. She commands the Catholics to go to "America Zero" until they find answers and decides to take a break from sword training. She also tells the other rookies to stop bullying Penwood Jr. Jr. until he says he'd rather make reaction videos. She complains about having to leave the Hellsing Organization to a bunch of dullards when she dies, and Seras claims that she would likely outlive them anyways. That comment makes Integra snap at Seras about how she looks exactly the same as she did 30 years ago while Integra finds new wrinkles on her face every day. When Seras teases her about missing Alucard, Integra threatens to mail her to Abu Dhabi if she mentions him again.
Later that night, Alucard sneaks into Integra's room and goes to bite her neck, but she wakes up and shoots him several times before even realizing it was him. After Alucard explains why he was gone for 30 years and flirts with Integra, she bites her finger to offer her blood to him, with the series ending with Alucard calling Integra his countess.
