James Friel is the main protagonist of The Faceless.
History[]
James Made his first appearance in entry 1. He made these phasmophobia roleplay videos with his friends and decided to sneak in a slenderman appearance. James continues to make fake slenderman videos and it causes an entity called Der Großmann to stalk and punish james. Der Großmann is the real slenderman. James also starts recieving messages from a group called the all seeing. The group is threatening james because of the disrespect towards Der Großmann in the fake videos. James is getting stressed out but gets help from a group known as the hunters foundation.
James starts talking to his friend Joshua about his worries but Joshua doesn't believe him. Joshua starts making fun of Der Großmann. This angers The all seeing so much that they start targeting Joshua. The all seeing sends one of their proxies named Bled to go and kill Joshua. After a few attempts Bled finally succeeds and kills Joshua. James is starting to lose his mind over the death of Joshua and Tries to ambush Bled. James gives up after he failed to kill Bled.
James is told by the hunters foundation that Bled never wanted to hurt anyone or become a proxy. James is given the task to make an alliance with Bled and to try and free him from The all seeing. James succeeds in getting Bled into the alliance but finds it hard to trust Bled after the death of Joshua.
In season 3 it seems that the all seeing is now after a book known as the book of the dark. They believed that James had it but another group called the circle of the crimson eye seems to have it while James has a fake. The leader of the crimson eye is named Victor Thorn and he seems to have a strong hatred for James.
