Knuckles the Echidna is the titular main protagonist of the Mashed web series, There's Something About Knuckles, the second part of There's Something About… series.
He is depicted as a brooding warrior who protects a large walled off city from a giant monster with a giant robotic suit while trying to come to grips about his own self worth.
There's Something About Knuckles[]
Part 1[]
As Tails, Amy and the other freedom fighters try to defend the city from the gigantic Titan, the monster swiftly defeats their forces. Knuckles debuts at the end, standing his ground against the Titan in his mech suit.
Part 2[]
Knuckles the Echidna is struggling with the pressure of being the guy, the hero, the Sonic the Hedgehog replacement. He’s treating his friends like rubbish, because he’s scared. He then attempts to find his own self-worth as a warrior while he, Amy, Silver (who is later replaced with Blaze), Tails, Big and Cream all operate mech suits of themselves to protect the city.
Part 3[]
The giant kaiju becomes more powerful than Super Sonic. Tails, Amy Rose, Big the Cat and Cream the Rabbit can’t take down this monster alone: they need Knuckles the Echidna to get inside the Blue mech and be the leader he can be. But matters are more complicated when they revolve around both Sonic and Knuckles. The Red Guy is even tougher to deal with when it becomes Sonic vs Knuckles. But Knuckles tries to find himself if he doesn’t want the Sonic Prime kaiju to go all Sonic Boom on this walled city.
Part 4[]
Tails telling to Knuckles to stop and resting first to begin battle later, and Tails tells the backstory of Sonic and how he become the titans. Tails knowing that Knuckles are one of the Soldier after Sonic.

Back to the previous part of the Backstory, Knuckles knowing all the Sonic backstory that really want to get Sonic back to us.
Part 6[]
Knuckle done with backstory, with stopping Amy from hitting Tails, then Knuckles tell the truth to Tails about Sonic backstory. And Tails tell him about the Chaos Emerald, which is possessing Sonic that become the Titan. But because the Titan don't kill the weakness who possessing it, Knuckles just ruthless to the Eggman's lair alone. He's going to the Eggman's lair, but those of friends are following the Knuckles to stay together. Knuckles refused to friends to not going the Eggman's lair together, but Amy telling it to Knuckles to fight together, this is the only hope to making Sonic come back. Big the Cat blasting the door to open. They're researching the Sonic until it reveals that the Titans forms are much stronger than ever before. The Titans is preparing to attack, and they dodge it. Knuckles and his friends ready to attack the Titans. Big the Cat blast him, Amy hitting him to the Titans face, Knuckles and Blaze are slashing and punching the stomach to the hole. But it doesn't work, The Titans is regenerated the body. Fortunately, Tails digging it to trap the Titans to the Lava. The Titans is now drowned in lava only to mutated again into much stronger form with the Titans become Blue that resemble to Sonic.
Part 7[]
The Titans is now one-by-one attacking the friends. All the attack are doesn't work due to the Titans are Bulletproof with the attack, they immediately to dodge the attack. Knuckles get the idea to how to kill the Titans without hurting Sonic. They aimed to the eyes with wood and ready to attack, thus, Tails grab the Chaos Emerald pieces. It found it; Sonic is trapped in the Chaos Emerald in the Titans eyes. Knuckles monologue is still trying to kill Sonic. Knuckles looking all of friends are wounded by the Titans. The only to save him is grabbing the pieces of the Chaos Emerald, but first, he sacrificed himself and he stab the Titans eyes first to do this. Knuckles sees the Friends got wounded by The Titans, and he's now grabbing it and becoming the Titans like Sonic does.
Part 8[]
Knuckles is ready to transform, and he sacrifice himself for promising to the bring the Sonic's back to the normal. The Knuckles Titans is ready to battle, he sliced him and he's slicing back, and he continuously battle with Sonic's Titans. They are slicing, shooting, and punching him a lot. When Sonic's ready to the Final blast, Knuckles grab the Sonic crystal slowly, even Sonic's stabbing him, he's still grabbing the emerald no matter how the condition and pain. He's finally grabbing the emerald and he's saved him. Unfortunately, Knuckles are badly injured, so the only Tails to do is kill the Knuckles. Sonic is saved while the Knuckles is still unknown, despite they're killing him.
Part 9[]
Knuckles, now taking Sonic's place as the Kaiju, killed him, his former friends and the inhabitants of the city he swore to protect, knowing that their last piece of hope has been completely destroyed. This later revealed that Amy from a different dimension was responsible for driving Knuckles to the point of madness as well as having him turned into the monster he is today. When Amy was mini, she used voice mod to voice as Knuckles. She used it to affect Knuckles’ mind, which led him to become a Kaiju. Rather than downright killing her, he joined Amy (and Tails) on an omnicidal crusade at the multiverse while searching and corrupting other versions of Sonic's friends in the process.
Personality[]
While Knuckles is a rude and extremely strict leader who will insult and fire his members, it is shown he is an extremely stressed leader who feels unable to hold up a candle next to Sonic and is trying to keep the entire city alive.
