Lauren is the tritagonist of the YouTube series by JUNTEX, Slender in Real Life, based on the video games, Slender: The Eight Pages and Slender: The Arrival.
She is Carl's girlfriend and Kate's former friend, she makes friends with Charlie Matheson Jr. and Clem Puckett, she tries to help Carl in stopping the Slender Man.
She is portrayed by Viana Barnes.
Biography[]
Lauren first appears, introducing herself to the gang in the series before joining them in their quest to escape the Slender Man and try and find a way to stop them. She ends up becoming good friends with Charlie and Clem as well. However, Clem's manipulations end up leading to Carl nearly strangling Lauren to death, which puts a fracture on their relationship. This event also causes Carl to start to realize that something is going on and start to figure out the truth behind Clem's manipulations of the events.
During the second to last episode, she and Carl meet back and discuss things that have happened. The two get ready to make their final stand, but before they can Charlie, under the control of Clem, kills Lauren by shooting her, which was an accident as he intended to hit Carl as Clem had realized Carl was getting close to discovering the truth about him. Lauren dies soon after of the gunshot wound.
