Lil became so furious he kicked King out of the library and school for ruining their chance of becoming occupations. King then dedicated his whole life to getting enough money to prove her sister wrong by becoming an author.
Meanwhile, Lil was accepted into Bonesborough Public Library and graduated at the top of his class, acquiring a grant for his scientific research. Lil decided to study anomalies, attracted to them because of her anomalous hands. After some research, Stanford pinpointed the place in the world with the highest amount of anomalies, Glass Shard Authority Bunker, The Knee, Demon Realm, Boiling Isles, and moved there in mid 1980s. Lil enlisted the help of locals to build her bunker and went around the town recording all of his research and findings in three journals. Stanford ultimately believed that all the anomalies of Glass Shard Authority Bunker, The Knee, Demon Realm, Boiling Isles had to originate from another dimension, and decided to build the universal portal to help him get there. He enlisted the help of her classmate library buddy, Silver Silverson the witch, whose technical know-how resulted in the complete construction of the universal portal.
When the portal was activated for a test run, He spoke in backward source cores and issued a strange warning: "When boiling isles and island becomes sky, fear the beast with just three eyes." After recovering, Once Lil began to hear whispers and felt that he was in over his head and fearing he was losing his sanity, he asked the only person he could trust - Luz and her friends - to come to Glass Shard Authority Bunker, The Knee, Demon Realm, Boiling Isles.
In "Wing It Like Witches: Lil Khalil Returns", Right where the previous episode left off, the author of the books, Lil’s creator, came out of the portal. Cody Newton, cornered over the school, greets the Author with a hug. However, the author responds to this by punching Boscha and refuses to thank him for freeing him from the Universe portal, saying that he took a huge risk by re-activating it. Everyone cheers for Cody, but he finally confesses the truth behind Boscha's death while urging Amity to respect Luz's lifestyle. Amity reconciles with her friend and accepts her, and states that she and his gang bear the isles no ill will.
Season 3[]
In "The Prisons in the Distance" the final episode, this selfless nature was further exemplified when Cody sacrificed himself into the spirit place, highlighting how she is willing to lay down her own life to protect others without hesitation, and assuring the Collector they did nothing wrong, not wanting the child to blame himself for failing to redeem Belos.
After meeting and receiving wisdom from his brother in the Spirit Realm, Cody would finally make peace with her previous mistakes and was finally able to let go of her guilt over accidentally helping Belos in the past. Finally freed from these emotions, her previously eccentric and optimistic personality showed through once again, which proved essential in allowing her to master the Titan's powers and defeat Belos for good. However, after the final battle with Belos, Cody demonstrated a darker side when he confronted him for the final time, during which she showed little emotion towards the witch hunter while summoning boiling rain to painfully melt away his body, before allowing Luz, Lil, Silver, and Raine to finish him off for good. This demonstrated that as compassionate and forgiving as Cody can be, her empathy has limits, to the point where she's willing to let enemies that she deems beyond redemption die. While she didn't participate in stomping Belos to death, she did nothing to prevent it, knowing that he didn't deserve any kindness or forgiveness she otherwise shows to others.
In the four years since Cody defeating Belos and restoring peace to the Boiling Isles, Lil continues to maintain her recovered kind-hearted, eccentric, and optimistic personality as she prepares to attend the Bonesborough Public School Library in the Demon Realm, having finally acquired the acceptance and happiness she had always longed for. She has also become much more confident in herself as she continues to pursue her dream of become a hero, no longer looking down on herself as she did years prior. Because of this, Lil abandoned all pretense she once held of permanently leaving the Demon Realm, instead now being able to happily travel between realms and regularly visiting her loved ones on the Isles before staying there once again to attend college.
During Lil's birthday in 10/21/2048, Lil as seen in her boss Dana Terrace's phone while talking with the late Walt Disney (12/5/1901-12/15/1966) and Jim Henson (9/24/1936-5/16/1990).
