Luz Noceda-Blight, or Luz Noceda, (nee Noceda) is a major character in MoringMark's Owl House future AU webcomics.
She is a renowned hero who liberated the Boiling Isles from Emperor Belos prior to the events of the series. She is also the wife of Amity and the mother of Ayzee.
Appearance[]
Luz is a human of average build with curly brown hair, tan skin, and golden-brown eyes. She has a scar on her left eyebrow, due to a fight with Emperor Belos. She has a tattoo of Hunter's late palisman, Flapjack, on her left arm, and she wears a purple necklace with a moon on it. Unlike other versions of the character, she wears large glasses.
Personality[]
Despite her unfortunate past and trauma with her family, Luz is a compassionate and friendly human. She cares about everyone around her and tries her best to be there for them, even if it doesn't work out. Luz is insecure and sometimes believes that she is a failure, mainly due to her troubled relationship with Ayzee. Despite presumably being in her forties, she still retains her geeky nature and flair for the dramatic that she had as a child.

Ayzee[]
Despite parenting Ayzee for over a decade, it could be said that Luz isn't the perfect mother to Ayzee. When Ayzee was very young, Luz made the decision to remove Ayzee's bile sack in order to ensure that she would survive. This caused a rift between her and Ayzee, with Luz blaming herself and Ayzee wanting to distance herself from Luz. In spite of this, Luz loves Ayzee and accepts full responsibility for their troubled relationship. Luz admits that she should have believed in Ayzee more and likely wishes she was a better mother in general.
Amity[]
Luz is deeply in love with her wife. The two bond over their shared love of Azura and exotic nature. Luz wants to make Amity happy and felt great shame when she though she had failed Amity. Overall, Amity provides one of the most healthy and supportive relationships in Luz's life.
Eda[]
Eda was Luz's mentor in the past. While they rarely interact, as Eda is usually off participating in her Fight Coven or mentoring Ayzee, it is clear that they have a deep bond and shared history. Luz looks to Eda for emotional support, and Eda often provides it. Like in the original show, Eda could be seen as a mother figure to Luz.
