Mario is the main character who appears in the brentalfloss' YouTube channel series Baby Mario and Papa Yoshi. He is the adopted son of Yoshi and the fraternal twin brother of Luigi.

When Mario was an baby, he still wears an hat on his head since birth, he is an nice person. When the stork carries Mario and Luigi, Kamek assaults them and seperates them from him. Yoshi, who hears the bag falling from the sky hears Mario saying "It's-a-me!". Yoshi then takes Mario under his care and raises him as his son. Mario discovers the fire flower and turns into Fire Mario, he then accidentally fire farts on Yoshi after discovering his new powers. When he is in the clothes and overalls, he chases an Goomba before discovering an young Princess Peach and her mentor Toadsworth. Mario uses the Cape and learns to fly to impress Yoshi.
As an teen, Mario confronts Bowser, his rival who challenges him in the race. Mario, helped by Yoshi crosses the path with Peach, vowing to meet her again. Yoshi then keeps an eye on his adopted son Mario to make sure that this latter will not get hurt.
Now as an Adult after taking an Red Mushroom. Mario accompanied by his adopted father Yoshi who catches the key to gain access to another place like teleportation.
