Melissa Amelia Stickmin or just Melissa Stickmin aka Normalman's Mom is a minor supporting character in the Normalman series, but plays a major role in the movie Slam Dunk! She is the mother of Normalman her only son and the wife of Roger Stickmin.
She played a key role in shaping Normalman into the person that he is nowadays, teaching him about how the world works, and what to expect and deal with.

Melissa is a short women, who wears pink pearls, has curly hair, wears a cape on her back, wears a blue shirt with grey jeans, and has violet eyes.

Unlike Normalman's Dad his mom was a pretty nice women, she was goofy, timid, and hardworking. She genuinely cared about her child wanting the best future for him possible, she was also a good wife towards Roger even though he didn't even remotely care about her. She was oblivious to her husband's abusive treatment towards their son as she didn't even know Roger was abusing the poor kid.
After seeing Roger for who he truly was after he won the lottery, and almost slapped Normalman across the face for spilling coffee on him. She had the courage to stand up to her husband telling him he should be ashamed of himself as he shouldn't dare to hit their child. After Roger left her and Normalman she was a single parent she worked as a teacher for 8 hours a week to support her and her child.

The Grim Tales of Normalman[]
While Melissa doesn't make a full-on screen appearance in the series, she is mentioned twice in the series with her first being mentioned in the episode "Lenny the Cat" where Normalman explains to Lenny that after his dad abandoned he and his mom after winning the lottery, she was the light in his life who would shield him away from the darkness. Giving him pieces of advice about the oddities of living and what the purpose of it truly is. She was mentioned again in the episode "Antartica" Normalman ask himself what would his mother do to fix a ant problem, she then remembers her saying "Use spray to get rid of those little buggers."
