Melvin is the titular main protagonist of the MeatCanyon series, Melvin's Macabre.
He is an short and anxious man who goes to have his regular life, but keeps running into the worst of situations from his bad luck, with him having to confront his adversary per episode.
His voice is provided by series creator, Hunter August Hancock. (better known as Papa Meat)
Appearance[]
Melvin is a stubby man who wears a pale grey shirt, grey pants, and black shoes. His skin tone is almost entirely white, while his facial features is his enormous forehead and eyebrows, leaving his eyes to be lowered to his nose and mouth. He additionally has black hair.
When in his provoked form, Melvin's facial features shift up while his ears shift down. His hair spikes out and flows, and his teeth becomes sharp.
Personality[]
Melvin is generally anxious and soft spoken, being easily paranoid at situations and a scapegoat in some situations for the antagonists to exploit for their own benefits.
Despite that, Melvin is a kindhearted individual, with some examples being him willing to save other peoples lives in GUTTERBALL and befriending Jeremiah and his friends despite their rather weird tendencies in NOSTALIGIA.
However, that is to contrasted with his provoked form, which puts a 180 turn on his anxious personality. Here he becomes more angered and rage-induced, removing all of his empathy and makes him more sonorous. Some examples of these are in EARWAX where he violently lashes out on the Parasite despite it attempting to lament, and in GUTTERBALL where he kills Robbie after the latter pleads for mercy. (notably both of these instances happened because the antagonist provoked him in the first place)
Melvin also has emotional guilt as seen in the episode "GHOST HUNTERS," where he witnessed his friend Barry drown years ago and felt guilty about it. Though in the end he is able to apologize to Barry's spirit and get over his guilt.
In "Disney Adults…," Melvin was revealed to have started dating another girl named Jasmine, but is shown to be reluctant with his choice of date due to her obsessive personality particularly over the Disney brand. It is to the point that he was willing to break up with her, and laments about it during a musical number. In the end, his experience with Jasmine proves enough for Melvin to have chastity, as he even declines dating the captain's daughter as reward for his heroism that episode.
