Mr. Fin is the main titular protagonist of the webseries/webcomic, Mr. Fin the Agent Shark. He's a agent shark revived by the main antagonist of the series, Dr. Octobot into a cyborg. He now protects an underwater city named "Blue Mount Reef" within a comic-book styled world. He's also an agent, who protects the sea citizens from many kinds of aquatic villains. Mr. Fin is usually laidback and occasionally egotistical about himself, but this is rare, mainly because he doesn't really like his life all that much.
Character Biography[]
Physical Appearance[]
Mr. Fin is a tall, slender anthropomorphic blue Shark. Starting from the top, Mr. Fin has dark blue hair and a mustache on his snout above his nostrils. His hair is actually real, and not a wig, along with the mustache on his snout. Mr. Fin has long thin eyebrows that are of the same color as his hair and mustache, his pie-shaped eyes are a dark blue and black complexion. There's a big white marking on his snout with two nostrils at the end, that makes it's way to his belly. On the back of his head and back is a big triangular-shaped fin.
Mr. Fin wears a dark blue-colored tuxedo with a white lapel around his neck, with a white shirt underneath the tuxedo with dark blue buttons along with a dark blue bow tie. There's two anchor symbols on the tuxedo, and a pink sea shell on the tuxedo as a cherry-on-top. He wears a golden compass that resembles a wristwatch. Being a shark, Fin of course possesses tw long fins that resemble arms. As his body goes on, there's a smaller, mini-version similar to the fin on the back of his head. His bod of course ends in a somewhat arrow-shaped tail. Mr. Fin is typically seen with a white cloth around his arm, similar to most butlers and waiters from cartoons.
Background[]
Mr. Fin Is an agent shark who protects the underwater city of Blue Mount Reef from aquatic villains (the name originating from the giant underwater volcano in the center of the city). He's also a waiter and butler for Chef Boiler's restaurant whom is the famous supervillain of the underwater city. He framed all the other restaurants, forcing everyone to eat at his restaurant instead, including other villain of the series. And as you'd expect, it's a complete mess. And adds lots of stress to Mr. Fin's already complicated life. And he often gets aggressive and occasionally lashes out in rare instances from pure anger. Mr. Fin, prior to the series was unfortunately brutally attacked and killed by a currently unnamed antagonistic killer whale character. Afterwards, the main antagonist of Mr. Fin the Agent Shark, Dr. Octobot. He'd revive him as a cyborg shark, but this is where things get more unfortunate.
Octobot only had revived Fin to use him as some mindless weapon, and forced him to commit many crimes, that he heavily regrets, and still sticks with him throughout the series. These mostly included Mr. Fin killing and being forced to eat groups of innocent sea creatures who became a little to curious about Dr. Octobot's personal life. Some time later, Mr. Fin would escape from the hands of Dr. Octobot, who would of course see this as betrayal as Octobot had revived him. Now, Dr. Octobot severely hates Mr. Fin, and everyone or anything associated with him. Dr. Octobot is super intelligent, and knows Mr. Fin's past, and uses it against him repeatedly, as he continues sending out armies of robotic-turned sea creatures to Blue Mount Reef. This, combined with him having to fight villains daily, along with others treating him differently due to being a shark, and having to work at a terrible restaurant is soon going to lead Mr. Fin down a dark path, where he might become a villain, as Dr. Octobot intended him to be. Fin tries to stop himself from being driven insane. Considering he's a powerful cyborg, no one would have a chance in stopping him.
Personality[]
He's typically very laidback and relaxed, and also a bit egotistical about himself sometimes. Others tend to see Mr. Fin as a happy sea citizen who enjoys his life, in which this of course isn't at all the case. In fact, Mr. Fin absolutely hates his life, his past, his jobs, who he was associated with and the awful things he was forced to do. Mr. Fin actually has PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) from his past trauma, however he mamges to hide all of this with a second personality, which involves him being very calm and laidback, and knowing how to handle many situations, and due to being half cyborg, he has high IQ. Mr. Fin knows how to react quickly in certain situstions, so can his body as Fin is extremely fast and agile. He's often egotistical when it comes to his appearance, most especially his hair and mustache. Despite saving the city of Blue Mountain Reef may times from super villains, many of the sea citizens tend to be afraid of Mr. Fin due to him being of course, a shark, in which they think he's going to eat them, which he doesn't. Being a cyborg, Mr. Fin doesn't even need to eat.
As Mr. Fin was technically raised by Dr. Octobot, that is in his second life after his death, he was forced to do some devious and antagonistic actions, which had stuck with Mr. Fin for life. He tends to become angered a bit easily, especially when it comes to villains In the series, which constantly annoy or torment Mr. Fin. Whenever things do unfortunately get too hard for Mr. Fin, Retro-Star always encourages him, keeping his hopes up, and also managing to calm Mr. Fin down whenever he's having anger issues. He tends to mostly be quiet and rarely speaks, he also isn't fazed or startled by many things anymore, not because he's a cyborg, it's because he's been through hell.

Powerful bite force[]
Being a shark, Mr. Fin naturally has a quite powerful bite force, especially as his mouth is filled with sharp teeth. However, as he's a cyborg shark, he's capable of biting down with 10x more force, enough to shatter rocks, metal objects and even certain gems and crystals.
Keen eyesight[]
While most sharks in real-life don't have good eyesight, it's mainly due to the water not being clear enough. This is also sort of counts as a mechanical ability as Mr. Fin is capable of seeing 30 yards away underwater.
Superhuman strength[]
This mainly originates from Mr. Fin being a cyborg. He's capable of lifting one of the heaviest of objects such as vehicles such as submarines or cars, other large sea creatures such as whales and of course buildings. However, despite being very strong, Dr. Octobot seems to be somewhat stronger than him.
Superhuman durability/endurance[]
This also comes from him being a cyborg. He's capable of taking extreme damage and attacks from the other supervillains, sometimes especially Dr. Octobot himself. In most instances, Mr. Fin has himself being thrown through buildings and various objects and still getting back up without any issues.
Superhuman agility/speed[]
With his slender body, Mr. Fin is capable of perfect agility and smooth fast movements. Mr. Fin can perform variou back/front flips underwater and on land, and can dive down at fast speeds in different locations, which is typically how he performs a powerful attack.
Superhuman smell[]
Like many sharks in real-life, he has a very powerful and sharp sense of smell, being capable of smelling underwater, and on land. He can also smell certain substances in the water and can see a difference between them.
High intelligence[]
This mostly comes from his cyborg traits, he's very smart and knows how to handle many situations, especially when it comes to villans he has to put up with on a daily basis, he's also quite manipulative and knows how to trick the mind of his enemies, sometimes even Doulson, who's very intelligent than one would expect him to be.
Hand-to-hand combat[]
Mr. Fin seems to be a martial artist, capable of fighting hands-to-hands with mamy of his enemies. His preferred fighting styles are most commonly karate, which makes since as Mr. Fin is also very stealthy and agile. This combined with his superhuman strength makes Fin even stronger. He's even capable of fighting hands-to-hands with Squilly Squid and Dr. Octobot, who use their multiple limbs as attacks as well, aside from their hands.
Stealth[]
As a spy, being silent and stealthy is very important. He's capable of sneaking on certain suspicious individuals in Blue Mount Reef without them being aware of his presence. He's also sure to not make quick movements as it could form bubbles thst could give away his location.
Underwater/on-land breathing[]
Being an aquatic creature born in the water, he's of course capable of breathing underwater. However, due to being a cyborg, he's also capable of being on land for quite a long time, similar to Dr. Octobot.
Swimming skills[]
Being an aquatic creature born in the water, he's a very excellent swimmer, especially due to his agility and speed, allowing him to move at speeds way faster than most sea creature characters in the series.

Abilities that come from Mr. Fin being a cyborg
Laser vision[]
This is an ability Dr. Octobot has, except for the X-ray vision. Mr. Fin is capble of blasting laser beams from his eyes, which seem to be capble of performing the same amount of damage and destruction as Dr. Octobot's attack. Being able to blow up vehicles and cut through others like a knife slicing through butter.
Retractable fins/arms[]
His fins are capable of retracting into various weapons and gadgets, whether it be laser cannons, harpoons, etc.
Laser cannon[]
Mr. Fin can retract both of his fins into a laser cannon, which is shown to be far stronger than his laser vision attack, he's also capable of changing the size of the laser cannon, making it as small as a gun, or bigger than his entire body, thouh this mostly occurs during jokes. His laser cannons are capable of causing extreme destruction, and can easily take down buildings.

Trivia[]
- Mr. Fin being a waiter is based on how in most cartoons and movies sharks are often the servants of a main antagonist. Similar to what Dr. Octobot formerly did with Mr. Fin.
- He's one of the oldest characters to be made in the series, being created back in 2021.
- While he was being first created, he was originally going to be a penguin.
- Mr. Fin being nicknamed "Mr. Fintastic" is a reference to the Marvel hero Mr. Fantastic. His other nickname, "Sharkman" is also named after a comic book character.
- And him being called RoboShark is a reference to the 1987 movie, RoboCop. Which is ironic as the movie was one of the inspirations for Mr. Fin the Agent Shark.
- Him being the main hero is ironic, as in many cartoons and movies, sharks are always depicted as villains. While dolphins are always depicted to be innocent and friendly, similar to Doulson, even though the truth is, dolphins are more cruel and violent than sharks.
- As Mr. Fin the Agent Shark is a homage to comic books with superheroes and supervillains, He's based on Alfred from the DC Batman franchise, and also shares similarities to Cyborg from the DC Teen Titans franchise, which are all comic book characters.
- Meanwhile, Dr. Octobot, Fin's arch nemesis is bssed on Dr. Octopus from the Marvel comic book franchise, Spider-Man.
- Being a spy, he does have some references to Men in Black Suits and Mission Impossible.
- He's one of the strongest protagonists in the Mr. Fin the Agent Shark franchise.
