Natalie Octarine is the co-protagonist of the Inkopolis Chaos trilogy. She serves as the deuteragonist of Inkopolis Chaos, and one of the two main protagonists of Inkopolis Chaos 2 and Inkopolis Chaos 3.
She is an octoling who was falsely accused of stealing a new weapon model, who is also avoiding octo valley to make sure she doesn’t get drafted into being a solider, as she wishes to live among inklings, where there is more freedom.

Personality
Natalie is a feisty girl who at first seems aggressive. She has a short fuse and gets extremely protective if one of her friends is merely insulted. However, despite her aggressive nature, she cares deeply for her friends and is extremely loyal to them. It doesn’t matter what, if one of her friends is in trouble, she will not rest until they are safe. She is also shown to be sympathetic to those in similar or worse situations then her. She also despises stereotypes. It’s clear she also has a witty side to her, as she can insult others well, and was able to break out of her cell all on her own.
Before she got accused, Natalie was more of an innocent octoling, who was usually happy, and mostly saw good in the world. This was destroyed when she got exposed to all the rough parts of life, and dealing with fearful racism from inklings.
Natalie is also shown to be quite sensitive deep down. While she seems to suppress emotions well in the first story, in the second story, not so much. She breaks down upon hearing Melissa and Samuel argue, and feels sorry for Melissa, despite Melissa hating her at the time. She also breaks down hearing that octarians killed Sylvia’s parents. When she causes Cyalux to splashdown, which causes him to die, she instantly regrets it, as she caused the death of an inkling, even though he deserved it.
Heroic Deeds
- She saved Samuel from being beaten by Scarlet.
- She is very protective of her friends and makes sure no one even lays a finger on them.
- She broke Samuel out of jail. (GOODNESS ZONE)
- She forgave Ruby.
- She defeated Scarlet alongside Samuel.
- She was willing to beat someone up just for insulting her friends.
- She, Samuel, Luke and Katelin saved dozens of octolings from a rigged train crash. (GOODNESS ZONE)

- She offered Cyalux to change his ways multiple times.
- She disarmed Cyalux, and indirectly caused his death (which she felt bad about). Causing this death saved countless lives in the process, because if Cyalux got octolings underground, Lt Obsidian would have thrown them in concentration camps, or executed them.
- She apologized to Summer for hitting her, and forgave her for what she did to her two years ago.
- When fighting octolings who were brainwashed, she made sure to go for the shades to make sure they were free from control.
- She saved Samuel and Jade from being executed after she broke out of her cell. (GOODNESS ZONE)
- She refused to join Lt. Obsidian when she was given the chance.
- She reassured Samuel that he was good enough when he was feeling insecure, and made sure his confidence was high before going into battle.
- She helped out a lot in the final battle, from distracting Scarlet to patching Summers wounds.
- She helped Samuel defeat Lt. Obsidian by stalling her so she couldn’t reboot the sabotaged bomb. She was also willing to die to do this, as shown by telling Samuel not to worry about her, and to focus on the bomb. (GOODNESS ZONE)

Appearance
Natalie is a white female octoling with Pinkish Redish ink, a squid hair clip, blue eyes, a red hoodie, tights and red sea slugs. In her agent suit, she now wears agent headphones, and a white agent suit, which she claims is a bit tight for her liking.
Trivia
- Natalie is confirmed to be CrystallicWolf108’s favorite character.
- Natalie was a tsundere. In the first story, she showed heavy traits of being a tsundere, such as pretending to not be interested in stuff when she actually was, trying to hide herself, having a short temper and saying the most famous tsundere words, “ITS NOT LIKE I LIKE HIM OR ANYTHING!”. However, in the next 2 stories, she really toned down from her tsundere behavior.
- A reason she may have toned down is because of Scarlet’s torture on her. She acted less cold ever since she was tortured, possibly due to traumatic reasons.
