Optimus Prime is the one of the main protagonists (alongside Shinji Ikari) of the Haddad062's crossover Fanfiction Transformers Evangelion.
Appearance[]
He has the same appearance as G1 self and in one artwork his color scheme in the official Transformers x Evangelion crossover.
In the story he can use mass shifting to switch between his usual size to Evangelion size to battle Angel or to human size to interact with the human characters.
Personality[]
He has his usually personality believing freedom is the right of all sentient beings and his kindness to humans.
History[]
Optimus Prime would be war with his archenemy Megatron (later Galvatron) for millions of years until one day when Galvatron has the Darkspark in possession and planned on blowing up the Earth's Moon with it. However when Prime attempted to stop him an transwarp portal sucks them both in sending them both to the Neon Genesis Evangelion Universe's Earth where he was knocked into stasis briefly before waking up in an mountain side now more larger in size, and he see footprints where he would follow them in truck mode before arriving at GeoFront seeing Shinji Ikari in Evangelion Unit-01 in the middle of fighting of Arael and originally thought the Evangelion Unit was the evil one before sensing Shinji inside it and thus seeing the Angel as the actual threats to the humans in the area. He would arrive and transform into robot mode to assist Shinji in fighting against it, though he try to reason with it to no avail before having to kill it by shooting it in the head knowing it can't be reasoned and the lives of humans were more important. After the Evangelion pilot thanks the Autobot leader, Optimus would introduce himself. He would be briefed on the Angels, Evangelions and Second Impact made the Autobot leader conclude he is in a alternate version of Earth and decided to help defend the alternate Earth and rebuild it before trying to find a way back to Cybertron.
Some weeks later Optimus Prime would later pick up Shinji from school after an test in his truck mode, when the human explain his difference in size he said it was mass shifting as he drove back to NERV HQ. There he would be in the NERV base where he would be talking to Steven Landon when Asuka Langley Sohryu and Rei Ayanami arrived where Asuka accused Landon of stealing her CDs though Prime did point out where they are and are in the trash, though she thought Landon was the one to throw them away. There Landon would explain to Optimus about the indecent with the Thirteenth Angel Bardiel confronted as before his artival where it used Evangelion Unit-03 as it's host with one of Shinji's friends Toji Suzuhara inside and Gendo Ikari wanted to sacrifice him to destroy it where Shinji didn't want to. This didn't sit right well with the Auobot leader and had a meeting with Gendo questioning him, though Gendo attempted to justify it for an greater good to no avail and his treatment to Shinji Ikari where he threaten to dismantle the Autobot leader, Optimus said he will take responsible for his actions and when Gendo Ikari asked as a Commander or father, Optimus replied and said both.
He would be mobilize with Evengelions 00, 01, and 02 in his trailer when Starscream shown up where he was shocked on him being alive where Starscream mention Unicron revived him. Though Asuka attempted to rush in with Evangelion-02 despite him warning her of Starscream. Though she and the rest managed to take him down before he can question Starscream an mysterious creature shows up and finishes him off before leaving. This confused the Autobot leader due to it being an kid of Hybrid of an Cybetronian and Evangelion which made Prime wonder what that is.
More weeks passed and Optimus Prime asked SEELE leader Keel Lorenz for questions only to be told they're doing the best they can ans Keel told him to leave saying it was over after questioning him too much unaware of their true intentions. Kaworu Nagisa would eventually arrive in NERV where he would befriend Shinji Ikari though Optimus did notice Kawori isn't human and would reveal his true self as Tabris where he wanted the Autobot leader to kill him though Prime only expressed his remorse and condolence to his kind while mangaging to persuade him to not be killed here.

- The artwork was made by mcolebro at request and approval of original fanfic owner.
- Though the series creator said Optimus has his usual red and blue colors during the events of the story in the comment of the artwork of Optimus calling Gendo out he didn't mind it and found it cool anyways.
- Optimus Prime pretty much prevents the events of The End of Evangelion thanks to the fact him and his Autobots were able to overwhelm the Mass Produced Evangelion Units and overpower SELEE's military very easily due to their more advanced technology although it did almost happen when Galvatron did almost triggered the Third Impact.
- His kindess also allow Shinji Ikari's mental state to recover which allowed him to do more genuine heroism and reject Galvatron's Third Impact.
