Rainbow Dash is a major character from the Character What franchise, She is also one of the main characters from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.
Character What: Meet the Ponies[]
In the short film, which take place after Character What: The Movie, Rainbow Dash meets Shadow Joe for the first time, She first bump into Shadow Joe flying into air with his jet rocket feet. When Rainbow Dash bump into Shadow Joe, she thought he was a bad guy. Rainbow Dash follow Shadow Joe to Fluttershy's cottage, Than Rainbow Dash and Fluttershy follow Shadow Joe to Sweet Apple Acres. Than Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, and Applejack follow Shadow Joe to Carousel Boutique, Than Rainbow Dash. Fluttershy, Applejack, and Rarity follow Shadow Joe to Sugarcube Corner.
Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Applejack, Rarity, and Pinkie Pie surrounded Shadow Joe and they than started to attack him.

In Poor Bambi, Rainbow Dash joins with Twilight Sparkle, Rainbow Dash, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Applejack and Fluttershy to visit Bambi in the forest. but when they arrive in the forest they noticed that Bambi was crying. Bambi explains that he misses his mother so much and it's has been along time since he seen her before her death. Seeing Bambi so depressed, They decide to cut their visit short and return to Shadow Joe to explain everything to him about Bambi being sad. When Pinkie Pie suggested a party for Bambi is a good idea to cheer him up, but Rainbow Dash refute since Bambi losing his mother is the wrong that happen to him therefore it won't be easy to cheer him up with a party. Pinkie Pie sees Rainbow Dash's point and agrees with her. Unfortunately Shadow Joe disagrees and thinks planning a party for Bambi is a extreme idea.
Character What: Chronicles[]
Like the rest of the Mane Six (except Twilight Sparkle), Rainbow Dash appears only as a recurring character of the 5th series, she is mostly seen alongside with the other Mane Six and Spike.
In Accidents Happened, Rainbow Dash along with the Mane Six was among several characters attended Shadow Joe's meeting, explaining that he received a letter about of a lot of children would like to meet Shadow Joe and friends, including Rainbow Dash and the rest of the Mane Six. Rainbow Dash grow excited with this news. Later, after hearing that Bambi had a accident and broke one of his legs, Rainbow Dash and the other Mane Six arrive at the hospital to give Bambi some gifts to help cheer him up. Much Later, Rainbow Dash and the rest of the Mane Six join with Shadow Joe and the other characters invited on the trip to New York.
In Bambi the Red-Nosed Deer, Rainbow Dash along with the rest of the Mane Six join with Shadow Joe on a trip to Christmas Town at the North Pole to meet Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer.
Rainbow Dash makes a non-speaking appearance in the episode The Missing Teddy, when she participated with other flying characters in the search for Shadow Joe's favorite childhood teddy after Blinky Bill lose it, but she couldn't find the teddy anywhere.
Character What: Ultimate Hero[]
In Pinkie Deal, Rainbow Dash was at home, where she was a reading one of Daring-Do's books until HIM came into her bedroom. Rainbow was shocked to see HIM and prepares to engage a fight with the demon, but only for HIM shrink her down and explains that Pinkie Pie had sold her soul exchange for one bit to buy a delicious cake, though Pinkie had no idea what a soul is, much to Rainbow Dash's annoyance. HIM take Rainbow to his dimension and locks her into a cage, where she will pay the rest of her days in solitude.
In Villains Pals, Rainbow Dash set free some villains (Captain Hook, Cruella de Vil, HIM, Discord, Ursula, Pete, and accidentally the Toiletnator) to help her obtain a lost artifact that Daring Do failed to recovered, but the villains refuse to do anything for her, and would rather work with Shadow Aaron instead of her. However, Rainbow revealed that she put invisible shock-collars on them so if they don't do whatever she say, they will receive a painful shock. Having no choose of the matter, they decides to do whatever she wants to avoid being shocked. Once they successfully obtain the artifact, she foolish revealed that she was joking about the shock-collars so they can make them do what she say. Before the villains could do anything to her, Shadow Joe come forth Rainbow releasing the villains without his permission. Twilight Sparkle and her friends attacked the Tolietnator, Ben Tennyson as Way Big grab the villains with his hand, and Shadow Joe prevent Rainbow from escaping, so he talk to her about her misdeed. Though Shadow Joe forgive Rainbow for her wrongdoing, but decided not to let go unpunished since she had violated one of his moral rules, he grounded for three days by preventing her from flying.
In Flying Lessons, Rainbow Dash was among the characters who can fly, she mostly seen flying with EVE and Ash's Charizard.
Character What: New Adventures[]
Rainbow Dash plays a more important role in the 8th series as one of the supporting protagonists. She along with Iris (Pokemon) join Shadow Joe along with his new travelling companions, since Twilight Sparkle leaves Shadow Joe under Princess Celestia's orders so she can learn to be more independent without his support, and Dawn stay in the Pokemon World to continue her dreams of being top Pokemon coordinator.
Rainbow Dash first appears in Say Goodbye to Old Friends, and Say Hello to New Friends: Part 1, when she heard sound of Door To Anywhere from far away, and went to where it is, when she found the location when Shadow Joe travelling machine was, she sees him exiting the Door To Anywhere and fly down to greet him. Rainbow quickly realize that Dawn is not with him which Shadow Joe explains that she stay home to continue training her Pokemon to be top coordinator, Rainbow requested if she could join with him on his adventures but Shadow Joe gently decline her request because he want to feel like he replacing his best friend Twilight Sparkle, much to Rainbow's disappointment. Later, Rainbow was next seen flying through the sky and from above she witness Shadow Joe and Iris being chased by Jafar and some other villains until they were corned atop on a cliff in the canyon made from a river dam. Rainbow watches Shadow Joe fight the villains while Iris stay on the side lines until Shadow Joe accidentally knocks Shan-Yu into the dam, which breaks and washes away the villains while Shadow Joe and Iris were trapped in a cave that begun to fill with water. However, Shadow Joe broke himself and Iris out of the cave, much to Rainbow's relief.
In part 2, Rainbow later join Shadow Joe and Iris to fight Jafar. After the fight, Shadow Joe let Rainbow join with him and Iris, since she has proven herself worthy to take part in his adventures, but deliver a reminder that she is not replacing Twilight Sparkle, which Rainbow replies that she never intent to do so.
