Samuel Turfblu is the main protagonist of the Inkopolis Chaos trilogy. He serves as the main protagonist of Inkopolis Chaos, and one of the two main protagonists of Inkopolis Chaos 2 and Inkopolis Chaos 3.
He is a kind inkling boy who has a firm belief that inklings and octolings should get along, and cares deeply for his friends.
He also returns in the following oneshots: “Autism”

Personality
Samuel has a big heart. He cares for his friends, and is shown to have compassion for those who aren’t even his friends. When he catches Scarlet bullying Melody, who he didn’t know at the time, he and Luke immediately stood up for her. He has clashed with Scarlet a lot due to their opposite personality. He also doesn’t turn Natalie in when she was wanted by the police, even though he easily could of. He gives her a chance. He also doesn’t kill Ruby, even when Ruby begged him to splat her, keep in mind that Ruby kidnapped Samuel earlier in the story. This shows he is forgiving. He is also very selfless, as he was willing to die to keep his friends and the rest of the world safe.
He also is shown to have a competitive side. He enjoys Turf Wars, and loves the thrill of them. He also enjoys competing in tournaments, and celebrated his victory in the finals. He also doesn’t like to seem competing against bad people, as he was saddened that he was originally going to have to face off against Scarlet and her team, saying that it would be more about proving himself, showing his insecurities. He tries to push himself to be good, and tries too hard at it. Sometimes, he taunts his opponents, which is possibly an attempt to make him feel less insecure. He sometimes feels like he’s not good enough for the job, showing more of his insecurities. Despite his insecurities, he always tries his best to help everyone else, no matter what the cost. He refuses to give up, which makes him very admirable.
He is also passionate in what he believes in, as he yells at an officer “Being an octoling DOESNT MAKE YOU EVIL!”. Which could be an issue, considering how yelling to prove your point is never a good idea, as he also yelled at Luke when he wasn’t aware Natalie was innocent. However, this does cause him to overreact, as he flips a table in anger when arguing with Melissa about octolings.
Heroic Deeds
- Standing up for Melody when she was being bullied by Scarlet.
- He had the opportunity to hand Natalie into the police for cash, but instead he decided to prove her innocence so she could live a normal life. (GOODNESS ZONE)
- He refused to have Natalie taken back to octo valley, knowing how horrible of a place it was.
- He gave Natalie a new start, providing her with a new home, friends and a normal life in Inkopolis, and made sure she was settled.
- He saved Natalie from falling to her death when Jack, James and Jess threw her off a cliff. (GOODNESS ZONE)
- He forgave Ruby.
- He helped expose Scarlet to the public and made sure she was no longer a threat.
- He rushed to Natalies aid when he heard her screaming when she was being tortured by Scarlet. If he didn’t show up, Scarlet would’ve killed her.

- He did everything he could to make sure Melissa trusted Natalie and the other octolings.
- He, Natalie and Luke saved dozens of hostage octolings from a rigged train crash. (GOODNESS ZONE)

- He plays a major role in Cyalux’s defeat, but still felt bad when he died.
- He doesn’t get mad at Natalie for indirectly killing Cyalux, reassuring her that it’s not her fault.
- When fighting brainwashed octolings, he always went for the shades so he could free them from brainwashing,
- He went back to Cephalon HQ to rescue Sylvia and the others from the concentration camps. While he didn’t rescue her herself, she did get out.
- He suggested everyone to take a day off from agent work for the sake of everyone’s mental health.
- He was very caring to Sylvia when she was traumatised, getting quite angry at Blakeson for what he did to her.
- He kept protecting Natalie from Lt. Obsidian, even saving her life.
- He was a major part in the final battle, helping fight against Scarlet once again. He even cut off one of her tentacles.
- He and Natalie defeated Lt. Obsidian by stalling her so she couldn’t reboot the sabotaged bombs, and then used a curling bomb on her so she was no longer a threat. What’s more is that he was willing to die while doing this so that the world would be safe. (GOODNESS ZONE)

Apperance
Samuel is a White Male inkling with blue ink, blue eyes and Topknot hair. He wears a blue hoodie, leggings, blue slip-ons and a jellyvaders cap. Usually, hair wouldn’t be able to get through the cap, but Samuel cut a little hole in it to allow it to get through. His agent suit adds agent headphones and he now wears an ink resistant coat.
