Solus is a major protagonist of Flowers in Antarctica.
He is the god of the sun, energy, and victory, as well as the Chairman of the Gods’ Council. And the Grand Archregent of Heaven.
History[]
Creation[]
After the Primardiul war, Ylianos created the first 13 gods. Bestowing upon each a certain aspect for them to control, notably, Solus, the god of the sun, victory, and energy. Ylianos created Solus to be an extension of himself, giving Solus an appearance similar to his. Solus would then later go on to befriend Azimondiaz, the god of balance, stars, and space. And then would go on to make the sun that Earth would soon orbit, and be appointed as the Co-Chairman of the Gods’ Council by Azimondiaz. But him and Azimondiaz’ friendship would soon cease.
Exposing Azimondiaz[]
While Solus was out working on his duties as the Co-Chairman of the Gods’ Council, he discovered Azimondiaz in his lab/office, and Solus was shocked to discover that Azimondiaz had a plan to take over the Omniverse, which was strictly against the rules of the Gods’ Council. Solus then went on to expose this plan to the other Gods, who had the same reaction as him. They all confronted Azimondiaz, most notably Raxatholix, who directly stood up to him. Azimondiaz took offense to this, and slashed at Raxatholix, wounding him severely. The other gods then began to attack Azimondiaz, most being wounded due to Azimondiaz’ power, but Solus was not wounded, and surprisingly, Ylianos reappeared to help, helping Solus deliver the final blow to Azimondiaz, wounding him enough to contain him.
Azimondiaz’ Punishment[]
After Azimondiaz had been contained, he was brought into the Royal Court of Heaven. Where the Gods began to decide Azimondiaz’ punishment in front of a large crowd of almost every angel in Heaven. Solus and the Angels agreed for Azimondiaz to be thrown into the VOID, where he may remain for the rest of his life. The angels and the Gods decided this was a suitable punishment for his Actions.
Promotion[]
After the court session had concluded, Ylianos decided for Solus to become the next Chairman of the Gods’ Council, which he accepted, where he would then later become one of, if not the greatest leader of Heaven in history,
Deathstar’s Ascension[]
After Raxatholix had met Deathstar, he proposed a plan to make her a God, which she accepted, Solus was intrigued by the idea, and accepted it to, allowing all 15 other gods to give her their blessing, and ascend her into a god. Which in turn, made her the current goddess of life and nature.
Present[]
Currently, Solus remains as the Chairman of the Gods' Council, he occasionally visits Estriya's grave from time to time, mourning her death.
