SpongeBob SquarePants is one of the two titular main protagonists of the DEATH BATTLE! episode, "SpongeBob VS Aquaman".

He is an optimistic and kind-hearted sea sponge who is a toon force user that has saved Bikini Bottom multiple times. He is Super Friends Aquaman's former arch nemesis/rival.

He is voiced by Tom Schalk, who also voiced Kool-Aid Man, Dio Brando, Omni-Man, Megatron, and Tomura Shigaraki.

Appearance[]

SpongeBob is a yellow sea sponge although he looks more akin to a kitchen sponge. He wears black leather shoes, white knee-high socks with red and blue stripes, a red necktie, brown slacks, and a white polo shirt. His cheeks are flushed with three freckles each, his chin is pink, and his eyes are light blue with three lashes each. His entire body is littered with holes.

Personality[]

SpongeBob, like his canon counterpart, is cheerful, optimistic, and a bit dimwitted, as he constantly got Aquaman's name wrong. He is shown to be slightly oblivious to his surroundings as he did not notice the state Bikini Bottom was in until he turned around. SpongeBob is also very polite as he was very respectful towards Super Friends Aquaman even as the latter was striking him and SpongeBob only retaliated once he got sent flying. However, he is also shown to be rather supportive, noticing his opponent's despair for not being taken seriously and relating to said despair, letting him continue fighting the losing battle to the end. He is shown crying as Aquaman ends up disintegrating due to their collision showing that he is a very emotional person.
