Springtrap is one of the overarching protagonists (alongside Chica the Chicken) of the Five Nights at Freddy's web-series The Specials, created by TheHottest Dog.
He is an anthropomorphic bunny robot, who started out as the Chief's right-hand, before eventually rebelling against him, after seeing the wrong in their actions.
Springtrap was simply voiced by text-to-speech, however, he would receive Mikegamer023, as an official voice actor at the end of The Special Strike Rebellion.
Appearance[]
Springtrap appears as a dark, mossy green rabbit, has silver, metal eyes, part of his right ear missing, holes appearing throughout his entire body, along with dangling wires coming out of his holes. Which exposes a rotting corpse underneath the suit, as there are flesh parts tangled between the endoskeleton.
In the Special Strike Rebellion, Springtrap's bottom jaw is missing, and a few parts of his suit is torn off, exposing more of his endoskeleton and flesh. His eyes are noticeably beady.
Two weeks after the strike, Springtrap's appearance is back to his original looks, but his design more streamlined, with a brighter color hue, and still featuring the same wear and tear.
Personality[]
Springtrap is usually smart and bold character like Freddy, Bonnie and Foxy and Springtrap is usually be more casual and polite towards others. Springtrap is somehow the father of Plushtrap and Circus Baby where both of them irritate him via Plushtrap asking for breakfast and Circus Baby behaving creepy with him. Springtrap can be annoyed and have problems by his son Plushtrap who is usually seen asking his dad (Springtrap) about what is for breakfast, even if there is no breakfast. In the usual case that there is no breakfast Plushtrap will scream. It was explained in a QNA video, by Springtrap.
Biography[]
Springtrap was one of two alongside Ennard who did not make it to the war in The Special Strike as he got stuck in a glitched point of space and time where through unknown means escaped but sustained damage whilst saving the broken body of Chica much later after the war, and made them some of the few survivors of The Special Strike.
Despite this in reality very little is known of him since Springtrap was the first to be kidnapped by Golden Freddy (The Chief) for secret plans.
In The Special Strike Rebellion, it's is revealed that Springtrap had secretly worked with Golden Freddy (The Chief) throughout the earlier videos and even helped him create the Shadow Animatronics, but had only stayed loyal to hope he could talk some sense into his friend, finally having enough once The Chief revealed his mecha. The Mighty Jimmy also has trouble when fighting the revived The Chief and is even crushed by the giant mecha once it continues fighting after The Chief's defeat.
When Springtrap is sucked into the portal created by The Observer, redesigning his appearance and voice, he settles back into Freddy Fazbear's Pizza in the two weeks since the final battle, and tells Freddy about Ennard's therapy for his voice.
