| ~ Tari to Belle Fontiere in SMG4: War Of The Fat Italians 2020. |
Tari is one of the main characters of Glitch Productions' SMG4 franchise.
She is a cyborg pro-gamer girl, who is friends with SMG4, Mario, and the rest of the gang, particularly Meggy. She was first introduced during The Waluigi Arc.
She was initially voiced by Celeste Notley-Smith (who also voiced her Meta Runner incarnation) from 2018 to 2023, and is currently voiced by Lottie Bourne since 2024.
Roles[]
She is one the tritagonists of the Modern era. She serves as a major character in Season 8, one of the two tritagonists (alongside Meggy) of The Waluigi Arc, a major character in The Rapper Bob Arc, a major character in Season 9, the tertagonist of The Anime Arc, one of the two tritagonists (alongside Meggy) of Season 10, one of the two tritagonists (alongside Luigi) of SMG4 Movie: Meggy's Destiny. and The YouTube Arc, a major character in Season 11, The SMG4 Movie: 10 Year Anniversary Special and the Genesis Arc, a supporting character in Season 12, the Revalations Arc, SMG4 Movie: Revalations, and the Lawsuit Arc.
In the Showgrounds Era, she serves as a major character, serving as one the the tritagonists of the Puzzlevision Saga, as of the tritagonists of Season 13 and the deuteragonist of SMG4 Movie: WESTERN SPAGHETTI.
Appearance[]
Tari wears a blue and white hoodie, tan pants, white and blue socks, and brown flip flop sandals. She has a metal left arm, blue hair (with a fringe covering her right eye, similar to Lilyncookies and Rosalina), purple eyes and pink cheeks. Unlike her Meta Runner counterpart, it is not explained why her left arm is made of metal.
Personality[]
Tari is a nice, friendly, insecure and shy girl, who likes video games (e.g. Super Smash each other in the ass Bros.) and rubber ducks. She is shown to be a pacifist and often tries resolving problems with words rather than actions. Tari is very skilled with weapons such as guns, but is not very athletic and seems to have low stamina. She appears to be very danger prone, as she often finds herself getting hurt or in danger.
Tari seems to be a quick thinker, as shown in The Mario Purge, where she and Saiko Bichitaru attempt to fend off the Teletubbies with a makeshift Molotov, or in War of The Fat Italians 2018 when she attempts to save Mario and SMG4.
However, Tari's executions to these ideas usually fails due to her clumsiness. She was gullible enough to fall for Bob's lies in SMG4: Mario and the Bob Mansion..., though she did question why none of the Mushroom Kingdom locals ever had one of Bob's ancestors for a president. Despite her shortcomings, Tari is very friendly and was able to become fast friends with the majority of the cast, even with Saiko, her foil.
However, she is quite useful on occasions and despite being fearful, she is willing to push forward and wait for the chance to act.
Tari is also quite trustworthy, even managing to use her abilities to see through any simulated world when her friends are trapped in. She can communicate with her friends through digital as well as being able to form a realm to protect Meggy from One-Shot Wren’s constant torments.
Tari shows her obsessive and possessive side in her first appearance in a Christmas special, being extremely eager to get a rubber duck. Saiko of all people is freaked out by her behavior.

Trivia[]
- The reason for her obsession with rubber ducks is unknown, but it is shown to be her greatest weakness in the YouTube Arc. Belle Fontiere distracted her rival by throwing a rubber duck hint knowing about her weird obsession which caught Tari off guard and gave herself the opportunity to beat her quite easily.
- Tari, along with Belle Fontiere, made their debuts before Meta Runner. However, Tari's Meta Runner arm is broken and is entirely different from her other counterpart. However, they later met in the non-canon video, SMG4: into the Marioverse.
- Tari serves as the current icon of the Categories Needed template.
