The Detective (real name not yet revealed) is the main overreaching protagonist of the The Atomic Dinosaur Creepypasta story. He is a detective who been investigating the mysterious murders of people being by what reports is to be a person in a Godzilla costume whenever certain places play a certain copy of the 1954 Godzilla. He would attempt to find and bring down the mysterious killer before more lives are lost.
Appearance[]
He is described between a mix of a 1960's detective and Sherklock Homes who is in his 30-40's nearing retirement wearing a coat.
Personality[]
He is a mysterious but intelligent person who is usual determined to getting the cases solved unless he is forced to give up or see it hopeless. As he want to put things to rest and ease on murderers or lost people being found.
History[]
When killing sprees began around in the 1960-1970's of a person described to be in a Godzilla suit whenever plays a certain copy of the 1954 Godzilla film the Detective would be a junior one in his teen years when he was joined by a operation but it go nowhere to stopping later on a couple years later. He was determined to crack it but he saw it went nowhere where it wasn't until 1992 he saw the killings happen again realizing it is connected and decided to finally solve his most unfinished case of all as he dig up info that would make him eventually collide with The Atomic Dinosaur.

- He was created because LordGalvatronYT wanted a Sherlock Homes and 1960's detective character to move the plot forward. In fact he made him Sherklock Homes descendent as a nod.
