What is SMG4?[]

SMG4 is an american adult comedy based on Mario and GMod, and often involves the main cast getting into all sorts of trouble that leaves them laughing, crying, and definitely not questioning the meaning OF THEIR EXISTANCE. Anyways, heroism is rarely taken seriously, but one stands out for being the one with zero corrupting factors . . . maybe.

Who is Melony?[]

Melony Melone is a watermelon-turned-deity with the simple application of the Fierce Deity Mask. She is an innocent girl who doesn't like fighting much, but will engage in it if necessary to protect those she cares about. In comparison to other characters in the show, she doesn't display the same corrupting factors that are seen in literally every other character. Heck, she even saved the multiverse. She's admirable, all right.

Why might she no longer count as Pure of Heart?[]

Well, while Melony is VERY admirable by the show's standards, there is one moment that stands out that makes her not PoH. In Mario Gets Lost In A Shopping Mall, Melony has a nightmare and almost destroys Cosco. But the gang feeds her a hotdog before everything is destroyed, and she calms down and wakes up from her 'nap'. And now that she was awake, she was fully aware of all the damage she caused, yet didn't show any care in the world. She became aware that she almost destroyed a shopping mall, and she didn't care! She had zero remorse over this, which grants her a corrupting quality. Granted, it's one minor one, but it's one nonetheless.

There is a difference between Heating-up Periods and Indifference. If it were a heating-up period, she would have felt remorse for destroying Cosco. But in this moment, she simply doesn't care. And if someone was going to say 'She wouldn't have noticed; she just woke up', then here's my counter-example: She woke up and left, and the path had her travel through her own destruction. She definitely noticed, and yet didn't care. That's indifference.

Final Verdict?[]

I'm saying that since this melon didn't care about almost destroying stuff like she did in the past, she's getting a cut from me. Don't flame me; just vote.
