Varan is a minor character in Godzilla: Cataclysmic Kaiju Combat and the tritagonist of GODOFTHEMONSTERS.EXE

Cataclysmic Kaiju Combat[]
At one point, Varan met Baragon and Manda, and they formed a trio.
GODOFTHEMONSTERS.EXE[]
Varan was one of the few remaining monsters in Monster-G's game. He was found by Godzilla and Baragon in the Third Circle of Hell. When he was recruited, he assisted the King of the Monsters in searching for a way out of Hell, fighting demonized creatures along the way. As they progressed, things only got worse. When Godzilla had to fight his great-grandfather in the Circle of Wrath, Varan was shocked by what he had witnessed, as he didn't see Godzilla go this berserk since the final battle with Lord Ghidorah. After the fight was done, Godzilla mourned the death of Gojira. The other monsters, including Varan, felt sorry for the G-Man, but now determined to find that evil doppelganger and take him out of existence. After going through more circles and fighting the demonized Lord Ghidorah and Destoroyah, the monster group confronted Monster-G. The first fight with the demonic reptile was difficult, but the second fight was even more difficult. Monster-G had a final form, and he wiped everyone out, included Varan and even Godzilla. However, this wasn't the end, as the deceased monsters' spirits entered Godzilla's skeleton and turned him into Ultimate Godzilla. The real final battle ended with Monster-G getting destroyed and all of the monsters getting placed back on Monster Island. Varan and everyone else bowed down to Godzilla, and Godzilla roared triumphantly.

- Varan, Baragon, and Manda forming a trio is a reference to the tiny trio from Goji73's Godzilla and his Amazing Friends.
- He uses the Varan sprites from the NES Godzilla game, Godzilla: Monster of Monsters, but the sprites were recolored.
